Thank you, Professor. I guess you could say I missed home as well as those I left behind...or at least some of them. And when I learned that you were now Headmaster, well I would love the opportunity to work under you again. I have always learned so much from you.

You would do well in such a position, the students would benefit much from your teachings.

I can only hope that I would not disappoint you. It would be nice to be able to help the students in their studies and prepare them for life after Hogwarts. Just what did you have in mind, Headmaster?

*Closes the door of the office with a sharp wave of the wand. He lays his wand in front of himself upon the desk, taking a moment to think.*
We have a need for someone to tutor the advanced students in healing magic, and if I recall that is something you are highly skilled in.
*Watches her as she sits, listening to him. She always seemed to hang on his every word.*
*He nods at her compliment, a smug feeling filling his chest.*
The start of term is upon us, and I am confident there will be several students signing up to take a healing course such as the one you would be able to provide for them.

Yes, healing magic is something I've excelled in. I hope that the students will be interested in learning what I have to teach them. And I hope that I can inspire them the way that I was inspired by you, Professor.

*Severus has a soft spot for one of his favourite students, and apprentices, though she would never know. He is quite happy that Skylar has accepted his offer, and hopes that she does well in her new position along the staff.*
I am sure the students will learn a great deal from you, Skylar. As well as some of the staff, I'm afraid.
*He doesn't acknowledge her compliment, and continues to explain to her of her duties to the school, confident she will do all that is requested of her by him.*
There will be an office available for you to use, students may need to seek you there if they have questions about the subject, or wish to expand further into the branch of healing you will be teaching them.
Even though you are basically a guide for the students, I do expect you to make sure all students are following directions, and rules of the school. You do have the authority to take or give House Points as you see fit, detentions, and awards as well.
I also expect you be in the Great Hall come time for the first day of school, and the Sorting Ceremony, I should like to introduce you, as well as the other new professor.

As much as I enjoy spending my free time with you, Professor, I also need to find a place to live. So if there isn't anything else, I'm afraid I must be going soon. But I look forward to spending more time with you.
*she waited to make sure that he did not need anything else from her before she takes her lead, even though she didn't want to go. she would rather spend her time here with him*

*Turns his black eyes on her again, lifting his wand in his right hand as he picks up a piece of blank parchment from his desk.*
I know that you are familiar with the castle, although there are a few paths very few have come across.
*Passes the wand over the parchment, a map drawing itself out, showing her the shortest route from her future class room to her dwellings. He passes the page to her.*
