Today's lesson will be a quick glance at the Werewolves environment...

*He says still looking to the bottom of his bag*

*Ears a noise from the classroom's oak door*

Good morning miss...

*Glances at his students roll parchment*

Walker.

*Smiles warmly at the young student*

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

*Notices as more students arrive.*

Ah werewolves. I am thoroughly familiar with those. I trust you will be showing them the Homorphus charm?

Do you have a copy of my book 'Wandering with Werewolves'?

[Kingsley Shacklebolt]

In a matter of fact I do...

*He says, taking the old looking book from his bag*

Homorphus charm uh? *Smirks softly*

I think I'll teach something more... palpable.

*Smiles*

[Antoinette Walker]

*Nods with a soft smile as Professor Kingsley calls her name. She raises an eyebrow as the other wizard mentions something about his book, thinking*

_{Why in Merlin's name would you ever want to wander with a werewolf?}

*Slowly raises her hand, the book title suddenly sounding very familiar. Only one wizard she's heard of would write a book about such things and live to tell the tale*

Professor Kingsley?

[Kingsley Shacklebolt]

*Rises his Head from the deepness of his bag and his deep voice echoes*

Yes Miss Walker?

*Puts his bag aside and faces the young witch*

[Antoinette Walker]

*Bites her lip, not knowing the best way to ask her question without possibly offending anyone*

Er...

*Lowers her hand finally, messing with the corner of the desk that's closest to her*

Is he a friend of yours, sir? I don't remember him from the Professor's table, or being announced or anything, so...

*Shrugs slightly, turning to give the blond wizard a shy smile as she realizes she's talking about him while he's in the room*

[Kingsley Shacklebolt]

*Smiles*

This gentleman is Gilderoy Lockhart, a former D.A.D.A professor... He will join me in this morning's lesson.

*Glances at the man, awaiting his response*

[Antoinette Walker]

*Blinks*

_{Gilderoy Lockhart, Gilderoy Lockhart...I know that name, I've heard it before...}

*Nods, turning to the blond wizard again. She smiles distractedly and waves*

Hello, Professor Lockhart...nice to meet you, sir.

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

*He shines his award winning smile at the girl.*

A pleasure young lady. But I do believe my learned friend here is mistaken. I am your Defence teacher. Appointed by your head professor Dumbledore himself.

Have you brought your copy of the book?

[Antoinette Walker]

*Taps her nails lightly on the desk, glancing between the two wizards once more. After a second or two, Lockhart's statement finally sinks in, and she's left gaping at him with wide eyes*

But you- don't you- what?

_{He's mad! Dumbledore's not Headmaster!}

*Looks up at Kingsley, wordlessly asking for an explanation*

He can't be serious!

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

*He looks puzzled for a moment but his smile does not fade.*

A barmy lot you are. Dumbledore has been head for years. One of the schools finest.

Now.

*He holds out his hand.*

Where is your textbook?

[Antoinette Walker]

*Shakes her head at the situation, now positive the wizard's lost his mind. She leans over to rummage through her school bag, pulling the book out and setting it on the desk*

Here.

*Points to the book, opening the cover to show him the front flap- the book was definately not 'Wandering with Werewolves'.*

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

*He looks at the book and his expression shows him to be quite baffled.*

What is that? Why would you want me to sign a book I didn't write?

[Antoinette Walker]

*Jaw drops, wondering how in Merlin's name he got the impression that she wanted him to sign any book, whatsoever.*

Pardon?

*Closes the book, barely able to keep herself from slamming her head down on the hard cover.*

Sir, I came to class to learn about Defence Against the Dark Arts, not to have my book signed by my Professor!

*Pauses, adding as an afterthought*

Any what exactly were you doing around the werewolves, anyways?!

[Gilderoy Lockhart]

*He smiles and tilts his head.*

Ah I see. You havn't read the book.

I'm sure that you intend to get round to it. Fitting it into your busy studies haha.

*His smile lowers and he becomes a little more serious.*

Although I must remind you that the book is on the required textbook list for the year and you should get yourself a copy before next class.

*The famous smile reappears.*
