::Daisy had rested her body on his, and because he was not expecting it, he tensed up. Realizing that there was no need to be nervous and this was in fact what he wanted her to do, he relaxed and put his arm around Daisy. He realized that the moment felt right. They were a perfect fit in such a strange way. They were polar opposites, but maybe thats what made this... friendship so special. She started going off about how she knew she shouldn't have gone to the meadow and what not, but Caius put his finger onher mouth to quiet her. When she stopped, he put his finger under her chin and pushed it up to where her eyes met his.::
Shh. You don't have to apologize. I'm just glad you're safe. ::smiles:: Just don't do it again ::mock seriousness and then a wink::
::Greyson would not approve of this situation. Not at all. But he smiled to himself at the thought of Greyson getting so worked up over nothing... or was there something to be mad about. His emotions and hormones were all over the place at the moment and his judgement was rather off as well. He was sleepy, surprisingly unaffected by the nights events, and he let out another hug yawn. He gave Daisy a little reassuring squeeze. He continued to stare at the ceiling.::

In Caius' arms she felt... Well it felt right... She felt safe... Safe and warm... With Caius with her, she felt that somehow nothing would harm her... Of course she was often very innocent and naieve, never believing anyone wished her any true harm... Heck she hadn't done anything bad to anyone, why would they wish her ill? But... If they did, she felt that Caius wouldn't let them harm her... Why did she place so much trust in this man... He was her friend... Yes, he was strange, he had told her that he didn't think he was the kind of person she should be around, or something like that... And yet she felt he was wrong... She felt he was a kind person, kind and gentle... At least with her.
She felt him tense up slightly as she leaned against him, thus causing her to tense a little, but she would still launch into rapid appologies about being so silly in going to the Meadow and all, and yet as she felt his finger against her lips, her eyes would widen a little bit. But she would smile, leaning slightly against his side as he pulled her close, speaking gently to her after raising her chin so that their eyes met. She smiled warmly at his words, her brown eyes gentled and full of a gratitude.
"Yes sir... I'll try my best."
She would speak very sincerely, though she hadn't a clue how... Trouble seemed to be drawn to her so easily... But she would sigh gently, also feeling sleep draw at her. She knew Greyson would not like what was going on, and yet if he knew the alternative... He might be more open to it. She'd need to go talk to him the next day or so so she could get herself a new wand... Then again, quite the scary thought occured to her... Should she go get her wand from that pack leader? Somehow try to get it back? Those thoughts would not make it past her lips, however, and she simply leaned against Caius, curling up slightly against him as she felt her eyelids growing heavier. A yawn would answer the one Caius had given as her body expressed it's drowsiness as well. She was exhausted from the day, and then the fright that the evening brought... And finally it seemed the high strung little witch was settling down quite nicely. It was warm here with Caius, and he held her gently, making her feel safe and secure where she was with him... Surely she didn't even think of any hormones running crazy within the young man... Heck she trusted him... Perhaps more than she should? And yet she didn't feel that this trust she had in him wasn't earned by him. He hadn't done anything to her to make her doubt it in the least, and she was certain he wouldn't still.

:: It was getting to quiet and Caius wanted to enjoy Daisy's company a little bit more. He cleared his throat::
So. What are do you want to talk about?
::He was getting sleepy and he need her to keep him awake. He couldn't see if she had fallen asleep yet and he hoped that she wasn't yet. He rubbed her back.

Daisy was drifting quite a bit, the warmth and the secure feeling were working wonders on her nerves, calming them and even doing away with them... She felt alright here, safe and happy... Yet soon she heard Caius' words lifted, and yet they didn't penetrate right away... Soon enough, at the back rub, she would look up, blinking those large doe-brown eyes.
"Huh...? Oh..."
She would sit there, eyes open, thinking for a moment before speaking softly. One wouldn't be sure this was a topic that should be approached at the moment, but Daisy was curious...
"What brought you to the meadow tonight... Do you go very often?"
Ok so she gave him a sort of way out, but still... She wanted to know. She knew she went there often, and it was not a place she had seen him like... Ever...

::Daisy's question wasn't what he was expecting her to ask. He paused for a moment, thinking of what he would say. Obviously it would be the truth, but he didn't want to make it seem like he was a stalker or anything.::
I was... looking for you. I knew you liked it there and just by luck, fate, or chance I picked the right place.
::Just thinking about what would have happened if he had not been there sent a wave of heat through his body. And not the good feeling kind. He was just glad that she was okay. He needed to stop getting so worked up over it.

Daisy was rather good at picking the wrong questions to ask... She was curious... Perhaps too much so very often... But she meant well, her questions were never of a malicious nature. She would gaze up at him as he spoke, smiling warmly and nodding a bit as she eagerly accepted the answer.
"Oh... Yes... I do so love that place."
Her voice carried the sleepiness that her tiny form felt, but she would try to keep talking with him as long as he wanted to. She tilted her head a little as she registered that he was looking for her.
"Not that I'm not glad you were... But looking for me? If I remember correctly we didn't exactly part on the most happy of terms..."
She reffered to the time just before she went into her reclusion when Caius had been rather tense and let her know that it would be better if they didn't hang around eachother... Oh that had messed with her to be sure... She really liked this young man, if nothing else, as a friend... But she would smile a little, her question tapering off unless he wanted to answer it.
"Perhaps you should come up with the next topic of conversation..."
She had felt his uncertainty about her questions, and she would lean against him a little more firmly, snuggling into the warmth that he and the blanket offered.

::It was common knowledge that Caius was known to be a jerk and a prick. He couldn't really help it. He had grown up in an environment where his lifestyle was viewed as an "elite" group. He was born wealthy, and to a family of very important status. He came from a long line of purebloods and of Slytherin line. His family also practiced... a certain... "belief" that most wizarding families feared. Many of the pureblood elite families who practiced it were well-respected, powerful, and dangerous. He was all he was use to. The man couldn't help it. Before Daisy left, and well... the event of their falling out, Caius was definitely going head-over-heels for her. But one day he was reminded of his familiy's status, wealth, society... and Daisy's side of the family was completely opposite. Caius's father had died a few years back, making Caius the man of the house. Should he ... dare he say it or think it... fall in love with Daisy, the future of the Reppert legacy would be ruined. His younger brother, Ophiuchus, had warned him that the future of the Reppert family rested in his hand. The only way to push Daisy away was to say he was dangerous (which was true... well his family was) and that she could find someone better than he. It hurt him to do it especially the reaction it caused in Daisy. She left. The thought of the whole event sent a wave of sickness through his body. He couldn't believe he would do something so low... even if he was a cold-hearted Slytherin know-it-all. Yes he had feelings.::
::He flips his body over, knocking Daisy off his chest, and allowing them to face each other. He still couldn't believe he was acting so sappy over his feelings for this girl. It was like he had a personality change overnight. It was a weird new sensation, but somehow it excited him.::
Yeah I was looking for you. We ended on bad terms. I apologize. I feel responsible for you leaving... I was an arboretum. I was just looking for you so I could apologize.
::His bright green eyes looked into hers. Maybe she was right... lets change the conversation::
W-Where did you go?
::She was gone for awhile. He had to know.::

Sadly enough, Daisy had no clue of Caius' past... That was one thing they never brought up in conversation, not really anyway... Daisy was so easy to distract, that the conversation always was diverted from that topic fairly easily. And thus she had little clue. Daisy, it was true, had not grown up rich or powerful or any of the type, but instead she grew up happy... She had a wonderful childhood and enjoyed life to the fullest... And now here she was as an adult, doing what she loved... Being with the animals she so loved...
Surprise was the reaction that Daisy gave when Caius suddenly flipped over a bit. She would scatter back a bit, moving slightly away, though still facing the man. She smiled sweetly to him, though her eyes now danced with amusment and some slight surprise. Though as she listened to him, she nodded thoughtfully.
"No appology is necessary Caius... I think I understand..."
She nodded thoughtfully, though in reality she didn't understand... Hence her dissapearance... She couldn't understand... They had been growing close fast and yet it seemed too good to be true... Then it was somewhat proved to her that it was... He didn't want her... But then again, she was alright with being friends.
"It's behind us now... But I too much appologize... I shouldn't have ran... I shouldn't have left... You are my friend... A dear friend... I should have stayed and worked it out with you instead of playing the coward..."
She glanced down uncertainly, before nodding some, and smiling as he changed the subject.
"Oh here and there... I went on holiday to Scotland for a few days then came right home... I couldn't bear to be away from my precious animals... But I didn't have my store open... I cared for them and stayed shut in my house for most of it..."
She looked down in embarrasement, biting her lip slightly.

Caius hoped that Daisy was serious. That she really understood where he was coming from. Of course he had never told her the details of his life, his father's beliefs, even his own personal beliefs, so he had some idea that perhaps she was just accepting it to be nice. She obviously felt bad for leaving, but he was glad that she was back.
"You're no coward."
She told him where she went and her answer surprised him. She was practically here the entire time. It angered him slightly that she had been here the whole time and he didn't even know it. He didn't really know where she lived, but he had walked by her shop practically daily. He came back into focus and noticed that she was embarassed. He felt bad. She shouldn't feel so bad. Taking his finger, he put it under her chin and pulled it up to make her look at him. He wasn't going to lie, the lip biting thing was a definite turn on and without even thinking he crashed his lips onto hers. A warm sensation flew through his body, he knew that this was somthing she was not expecting, and probably would push him away. But he enjoyed the moment. and hoped it would last for a much longer time.

She smiled warmly up at him and simply laid upon her side gazing at him. Honestly all she wanted to do was to curl up, perhaps against him, and sleep... But she would keep talking and enjoying his company, she was still awake enough... Somewhat. She smiled shyly at his words and shook her head a little.
"You are too kind... I am a coward... When things get rough, I run... I hide... I don't fight..."
She glanced down in embarrasement. She was oblivious to who was around her place when... It was true, she lived right above her her shop, but didn't tell many people that... She glanced down, and yet soon she felt her chin lifted and her gentle brown eyes meeting his. She offered the tiniest smiles past her bitten lip, which her tooth still lay lightly upon. A gasp was sharply taken as his lips soon pressed where her teeth did a moment ago, a kiss pressed in firmly against her lips. For the moment she remained tensed and confused, thoughts of how to respond darting through her mind. She should push him... Stop him... But she couldn't... Finally she relaxed into it, returning it right back, moving her lips gently against his, responding favorably to it instead of what he likely expected. She would continue the kiss for many moments before drawing away, her face scarlet, her breath caught in her throat. She would bite her lip once more but smile softly to him.
"Caius..."
She said breathlessly as she sought her breath to return and her spinning head to clear.

::The moment was... amazing... to say the least. He was a hotshot Quidditch player who had had numerous girls flock to him, so he was experienced... enough said. However, something about being with Daisy... snuggling... kissing... it had a different feeling. He had never felt this way about anything or anyone for that matter. He got lost in the kiss and became more relaxed when he felt Daisy kiss him back. They both got caught up in the moment, but he felt Daisy pull away and he slowly opened his eyes. They looked disheveled and he chuckled at the sight. Staring into Daisy's eyes, he was scared to admit what he was feeling.::
I-I'm sorry. I got carried away...
::He broke their eye contact and looked down at his hands before looking back up at her. His eyes examined her face, untilthey landed back onto her lips. She was bitting her lip again, and he automatically wanted to lunge forward and begin kissing her again. But he restrained himself. Instead he brushed the hair that had fallen in her face behind her ear and let his hand linger there.::
Daisy...
::But he didn't know what to say. He just locked his eyes with hers.::

Daisy knew of his fame and all. She didn't like playing Quidditch, but she somewhat kept up on the famous Quidditch players... She knew of Caius at least some... She knew he was a hotshot and that all the girls had to be all over him if he'd let them... And thus she wondered why he would have been looking to appologize or find her at all. Afterall as far as Daisy saw, she was one fish in a huge sea for him... But indeed it seemed strange with him... Like when he was with her, she was all that mattered...
This greatly confused the young woman... But she couldn't say she didn't like the feelings... And yet how could he like her any more than friendship? It didn't make sense to her in the least! She felt him withdraw and her gentle brown eyes moved up to meet his, pink lighting up her usually pale cheeks.
"Caius..."
She murmered his name gently and smiled at his touch before giving the tiniest of nods.
"I suppose I got carried away as well..."

:: Emotions were raging through Caius but he didn't know how to act on them. What was he feeling? What was she feeling? Everything about what had just happened felt so wrong, yet so right at the same time. Caius chuckled as she blushed. He knew that he was probably bright red as well, but then she said his name ever so softly and Caius had left the earth again. He had the urge to kiss her again and he tried to restrain himself, but he couldn't. His lips slowly met hers again and he breathlessly called her name:
..."Daisy..."
::This moment had come so suddenly and Caius was still confused as to why his feelings for her were becoming so strong. He had an idea of what was going on, but he was to afraid to admit that it might possibly be love. He shook the thought out of his brain as he began kissing the base of her neck.::
(ooc: I hope that was okay! haha)

Daisy smiled sheepishly, but was rather happy to see the pink lighting Caius' cheeks as well... It made her feel less silly and alone. Now... For every random not-understood emotion that ran through Caius, two or three more ran through the young woman. She knew she shouldn't be here... Heck her brother had very much advised her to stay away from him... Then again he advised her to stay away from all guys, so that didn't quite sink in as well... But she felt nervous and exhilerated around Caius all at the same time. And then along with those feelings she felt a safety...
Daisy had little clue of the restraint poor Caius was trying to put up against himself... But when he would lose it, and his lips would meet her own, her lips would respond quite favorably, moving gently against his. She shivered delicately before snaking her arms around his neck to hug him as they kissed. She trembled just a little once again as she heard his voice. Her name sounded delightful upon his tongue, and once again she would speak gently to him as well.
"Caius..."
Yet she tensed up a little at his kisses upon her neck. This wasn't right... Was it? And yet she wanted to give in to him... But could she? Worry and uncertainty crossed her eyes at these thoughts. Darn a woman's ability to think in the midst of the heat of passion.

::Caius kissed her more passionately as she snaked her arms around his neck. He decided it was getting a little out of control so he pulled away. He was afraid of what he was capable of doing. She was so innocent and he so devilish. His eyes openly slowly and stared at Daisy's glowing face. He knew that she was feeling what he was feeling... whatever feeling that was. He was at a loss for words and could only mutter...::
"You're amazing. I'm sorry I'm...well... me. You deserve better, braver, and nicer. I don't know if I can promise to you that I be like that..."
::Caius pulled away from her, disappointed for the first time in his life that he was associated with his family and their beliefs. It was his beliefs that made this union so... wrong... so forbidden and he was hating himself for it.::
