<He watches with an excited wicked grin sneaking across his lips, looking forward to watching his servants attempt to prove their worth in the tricky maze.>
<The followers begin to enter and he keeps watch over his viewing ball so as to not lose track of any of them.>

*Grumbles his protestations as Gabriel kicks him.*
Merlin, you'd think I was a Hufflepuff!
*Fairly skips to the entrance, eager to get away from Gabriel, inching closer to Zero with every stride while trying to make it subtle, as if he's keen to be toward the front.*
*Glances behind him, spotting Lucretia and smiling. With so many allies how could he fail? It seemed improbable but then again he had seen this gruesome Peon character once before and hated being so near the creature or wizard.*

~~Inside the Labyrinth, as the players enter, it seems to count them.~~
~~One by one, as a witch or wizard comes inside, they are to arrive in a large hall where a doorway opens for each of them, ten in all.~~
~~Through two doors howling and wails can be heard, through two others bright lights, through two others clanking sounds of metal on metal, the others are still and silent.~~
~~One door for each of the competitors and they are to choose their fate.~~

*Wormtail apparated upon feeling his darkmark burn. He stood behind the group quietly and listened to the Dark Lord. When walking up to the entrance of the maze, he felt in his gut that he was not going to make it.*
Bad mistake bad mistake *he whispeered to himself*
*as he passed the Dark Lord, he bowed and cowered into his hands, feeling sick and nauseated from fear. *

*From the shadows the robed figure steps out and pale eyes glance to the entrance of the Labyrinth. There was no limit to what one could bring within the labyrinth itself but she knew the charm wards she herself placed on the maze below. The hood turns to regard the Dark Lord before her lips pull into a smile. She says nothing and keeps the hood pulled low, masking just who she is.*
Am I to join them, Dark Lord?
*Then looking to the entrance to the Labyrinth before her gaze fell to Peter Pettigrew, she'd not seen the man before, but she'd heard of him and this undoubtedly was him. Dark painted lips drew up into a further smile. Before she turned her attention to the crystal ball in Lord Voldemort's hands.*
Am I to join them, Master?
*Her voice smooth as serpent scales as she reaches up and pushes the hood from her face. Her hair was simply tied back securely, apparently ready to either dual or go playing in the Labyrinth like the others.*
You of course realize I would have an advantage over them...the tie of blood and land is strong with the line of Thails.
*If anyone would know of such old magic it would be this man standing before her.*

<Pleased that the final competitors have arrived he gestures towards the entrance.>
The others have entered. All that remains is for you to join them.
I trust that I will yet have a few surprises inside for even you Miss Thails.

*Reaching a group of doors, ten or so, he doesn't really count, Zero grows nervous, separate doors means different courses. His heart sinks a little, knowing that this is where he and Sebastian part, possibly forever.*
*Quietly he clears his throat, steals a glance to Sebastian, and moves before the doors. He pauses for a moment in front of each, assessing it, and it seems that something can be heard from each of them. The sounds vary, all not sounding very promising, except four. Behind four he can hear nothing, and that worries him as well. Not many can endure complete silence.*
*For a flash of a second, panic begins to take hold, but Zero takes a slow breath, steeling himself. He knows he can do this, the Ministry believes he can do this, and he's going to. Just as quickly as the panic came it is replaced with confidence, and he moves toward a door, making a choice.*
*Almost inaudibly he says to the door.*
You'll do nicely.
*Tempted to see what the others are doing, he focuses intently upon one of the doors where nothing can be heard from behind it, and refuses to break his concentration. Once again he takes a slow breath, encourages himself mentally, and then reaches for the door knob, twisting it promptly. The first thing he notices is that the silence is overwhelming, and the hairs on that back of his neck stand on end as he steps inside, nearly jumping as the door shuts behind him with an unexpected clap.*

*Arrives at the group of doors a step or so behind Zero, taking immediate notice of how many there are. Ten in all he counted quickly, moving swiftly toward one without any hesitation. He cannot stop what is to come, he can only fight his way forward, no reason in fretting about what's lying in wait.*
*Severus pulls his wand from his midnight black robes, and takes a quick moment to adjust the sleeves of his robes before turning his black eyes ahead to the door he chose. Faintly he can hear the sound of wailing? Howling? He isn't surprised to hear the horrible sounds, he can imagine Voldemort would want it this way.*
*A pale hand reaches for the knob, turning the cool metal in his hand, and he pushes effortlessly, having chosen his fate. Without further ado, Severus steps inside, the door closing with a sharp snap behind him.*

*Watches Zero's departure with wide eyes, keeping his face cold and indifferent, fingers curling and uncurling at his sides. Naturally his bold friend had chosen first, he seemed so much more noble than the rest of the Death Eaters. Then again, Sebastian had a soft spot for the man that extended to France and back.*
*Glances toward Gabriel once, not waiting for his master's guidance.*
If it's good enough for Zero, it's good enough for me.
*Glides toward the other silent door, flinching as he passes the doors emitting bright light, smiling at his wise choice. He would definitely enjoy the sweet silence if Zero was beside him; hopefully this would be the case.*
*Smiles briefly at Lu, opens the second silent door, and flings himself through it while gritting his teeth and repeating positive phrases.*

**Arches a brow, unsurprised to how quickly Sebastian followed his friend. The boy was hopeless when his emotions were concerned.**
**Scoffs after Sebastian disappears.**
Idiot.
**Walks toward the nearest door, one of the doors where howling and wailing could be heard, arrogant enough to not be afraid of what lies beyond. In one motion Gabriel turns the door knob and enters the maze, the door slamming violently behind him.**

~~The participants begin to enter their chosen doors.~~
~~As the doors close behind the entrants, rock formations move and close the entryways behind them barring entry for any other and exit for the one inside.~~
~~Left for the others are two doors where bright light emits, two doors where metal clanks, and two doors of silence.~~
~~Zero Quinn~~
~~A passageway leads to a large round dimly lit room, with more Greek columns lining the walls.~~
~~A single doorway is the only exit, the entrance now barred, but upon it is a magical padlock unopenable except by one key.~~
~~In the centre of the room, a small pensieve like pool, at the bottom of the pool of memories lies the key.~~
~~Inscribed by the pool are words.~~
Escape is what you seek, escape from what is now. But to escape from the now, you must accept what has been done. Reach for your escape and revisit the darkest past that you hide away inside yourself.
~~Severus Snape~~
~~The passage chosen by Snape leads to a large dark rectangular room, with a seemingly bottomless pit separating him from the exit.~~
~~The cries of fear he heard come from a small girl in a cage dangling above the pit.~~
~~A mechanical bridge on the other side can be extended with the pull of a lever near Snape's entrance.~~
~~Attached to the bridge, a sharp blade which would sever the rope suspending the girls cage if it were to be extended.~~
~~One wall offers protruding rock which could be used to climb across the chasm, though the rocks are covered in sharp glass.~~
~~Sebastian Bordeaux~~
~~Through Sebastian's door is a small well lit box room containing a plaque.~~
No mere human mortal may pass through these halls. Only one imbued with magical power can hope to survive. Use your skills and your wits to pass through.
~~Ahead a passage leads through a long winding almost pitch black corridor, with uneven flooring and odd steps leading downwards.~~
~~Gabriel Rosier~~
~~Through Gabriel's door is a passage leading to a huge room lined with enormous columns and the floor covered in crispy leaves.~~
~~Dead bodies are scattered among them, not bloodied or beaten, merely dead.~~
~~An inscription near the entrance reads.~~
A sound could wake the dead.
~~Far in the distance across the massive room the exit awaits.~~

*watches the others vanish one by one behind the doors, feeling a bit scared now. She would have thought the Mentors had to go with their trainees.*
*nods at Sebastian, casts a helpless look at Rodolphus, shrugs, and proceeds to the doors. The ones with bright lights make her think of the nightmares and frighten her most, but she knows if she doesn't do it she'll imagine probably worse than what's behind*
*taking a deep breath she opens resolutely the first of the doors with the fiery lights behind them and walks through*

~~Left for the others are one door where bright light emits, two doors where metal clanks, and two doors of silence.~~
~~Lucretia Black~~
~~The door leads to a small room filled with a blinding light.~~
~~The door behind her closes up and the lights begin to fade, leaving only four panels on the wall still gleaming.~~
~~On each of them is a symbol, one with an eagle, one with a badger, one with a lion and one with a snake.~~
~~In the corner of the room is revealed a fountain set into earthen ground with a flaming torch in a stand next to it.~~

Shaking with fear, Peter watched as different people entered the doors and disappeared behind them. Looking around to see who was left, he realized that he shouldn't be the last person to go in on of the doors. That would only prove to his master that he was incapable of completing such duties. He noticed one of the doors had no sounds coming from it. He quickly flung the door open and stepped inside, ready to face his fate.

But to escape from the now, you must accept what has been done. Reach for your escape and revisit the darkest past that you hide away inside yourself.*Follows along a long passageway, wand at the ready, and he finds a round room, dimly lit, and adorned with many beautiful classical Greek Columns. He slides carefully further into the room, eying the columns with appreciation, knowing that Sebastian would like them as well. His heart aches a bit as his thoughts touch on the wizard, and he pushes himself forward, thinking, Get through this first...See Seb later.* *As he inches deeper into the room his sight falls upon a small pool in the center of the room. Pausing, Zero lifts a curious brow, and stands there a few feet away, regarding the pool. There could be any number of things floating within, and his eyes dart back and forth over the pool as he considers his actions when he finally notices the inscription.* *He resumes creeping closer to the Pensive, reading the words inscribed nearby, understanding slowly beginning to sink in, he has to go in. Now standing over the pool of memories he can see them swirling about, and a key laying at the bottom.* *The only way out is in, not keen on going through with this, Zero hesitantly kneels before the pool, taking a few glances about the room to be certain no one is near, and drops his sights to the pool before him once again. Chuckling to himself, a compulsive habit when he's nervous, he leans forward slowly, his face dipping into the memories, and he's suddenly falling deep, deep within the Pensive.* *He lands on his feet on what he can only assume is the ground, the memories are hazy, and haven't formed yet.*
