-With his blue eyes looking sharp, Vane passed down the lane slowly, window shopping for the Halloween holiday that was only a few short days away. As of yet, Vane didn't have a costume, there wasn't anytime, and this was the first of a few Hogsmeade weekends this term, he wasn't going to waste time with nonsensical Credenza such as visiting Honeydukes, or Madame Puddifoot's. He had to get to a shop, and quickly, most of the good costumes were sure to be gone by now.-

Halloween. One of only a spare few holidays Annalessa didn't mind during her days at Hogwarts. As much as she'd loathed the school, seeing the Great Hall decorated in the dark theme, and colors thrilled her. The one night scaring the pants off of her peers and teachers, was considered ' exceptional. ' Great memories accompanied the holiday, though this year Annalessa found herself indifferent. Perhaps it was because she'd grown in maturity, or grew colder with out the sound of laughter always echoing throughout the halls. Of course, her parents were attending party on the night of the event, with fellow servants of the Dark Lord. Annalessa wasn't expected to come, and so she wouldn't. Who wanted to be around a load of drunk adults, likely to bore her to sleep with endless chatter? Dressed impeccably as she always aimed to be, Annalessa found herself in Hogsmeade; Goosebumps raised along her fair skin at the cold breeze which wrapped around the small village. Though Annalessa paid no mind, her face as cold as stone. She simply sneered at the little third years who ran about, joyful and full of youth greatly anticipating the holiday. Annalessa found nothing worth being joyful about, knowing she'd be simply bored to tears on the night. Though perhaps she could go out and cause a bit of mischief... -Reaching to brush aside a stray lock of hair from the bun she'd placed it in, Annalessa sighed- www.polyvore.com/out_about/set?id=24469077

-Vane had spent about ten minutes looking through the window of whatever the hell shop he was standing in front of, and decided they didn't have a bloody thing even remotely close to what he was looking for. Sighing softly to himself, he turned himself about, and was about to start off for the next shop, but was stopped dead in his tracks as he nearly ran over a redheaded witch he knows wasn't there just a second ago.-
-Nods curtly.-
'Scuse me, didn't spot ya there.
-Gives the witch a tight lipped grin, ready to go about his business.-

-Not expecting to nearly be toppled over by the wizard as she too turned her attention from a shop which had caught her eye, Annalessa turned her nose up at the younger male. Her mood rather sour even for her, with no desire to 'play nice.' -
"Yes well, be sure to get your eyes checked if your vision is so poor, you can't see what's right in front of your eyes. Could be quite dangerous." -Her tone sharp, with a cold edge; Annalessa didn't really care that she'd also nearly ran in to him. Maneuvering around the wizard, ready to continue on her way-

-If there was any friendliness in Vane's expression it was wiped away the moment Annalessa opened her bloody mouth. She certainly wasn't a very charming witch, and he couldn't help but wonder what put her in such a foul mood. Maybe her boyfriend dumped her for her attitude.-
-Smirks, his blue eyes matching the iciness of a frozen lake.-
Thank Merlin for that too. Just the lil' peek I got of you nearly burned my eyes out of their sockets.
-Runs a hand over his short hair, completely confident in himself, and begins to walk off.-

-Stopping at the insult, which she found quite pathetic; Annalessa turned, a humored smile upon her face. Yet no warmth found behind it, eyes as cold as winter-
"Now there's no need to tell fibs, love. Hearing that insult, I sincerely doubt any ladies find you very appealing. I've heard worse and much more witty things from the mouth of a troll. Please for both of our sakes, don't bother saying anything if it's only half hearted. And you'd do well to watch your tongue... otherwise you just may find your eyes burned out of their sockets. And we'd hate for that to happen, yes?"
-Letting out a light giggle, the expression on Annalessa's face was now one of pure innocence; Contradicting to the wicked glint in her eyes. Her tone showing a barely concealed dark edge, hands casually going to her pocket where her wand sat just in case-
