A reporter, single? You meet and interview people all the time...surely you must have someone...

Tallia looked down and fiddled with the corner of her notepad. "There was someone, but we're not together anymore. I haven't seen him for months." She sighed then smiled at him again, standing up. "Right, well I should probably be off now, otherwise I'll never have the scripts ready for the next edition..." She picked up her bag and tucked the notepad and quill inside. "Thank you ever so much for your co-opperation. I'll send you a complimentary copy of the magazine before I publish it." She shook his hand and smiled warmly before disapparating.

Tallia apparated into the Top Meadow. The grassy expanse had always offered her solace when she was most in need. She took a deep breath of the country air, pulling her deep red, black fur-trimmed cloak tightly around her. She began walking through the long grass towards the large oak tree which stood in the meadow. The grass was slightly damp and as she walked the hem of her long black skirt began soaking up the moisture. She stumbled a few times, the ruby shoes she had on definately not the right shoes for rambling across fields at such a time of the evening. She stopped at the tree, holding back tears before sinking to the floor. Settling herself on her cloak, she leaned back against the tree, her eyes closed.

Aaron walked. That's all he really did lately. He went walking the other day as far as where his parents live. And again the week before to Godrics Hollow where he stumbled across Aurelie. So today he was up in a completely different direction, where he used to go on Hogsmeade weekends to get away from people. He could see all across everywhere here, he even spotted the place where he first met Holly. Holly...

It was good getting away from everyone though, nice and quiet away from the city areas and the regular sites and people. But what he hadn't expected was to see someone else in this somewhat secluded spot. But there that same woman was, the one that had walked into the Three Broomsticks the other day perhaps? he wasn't sure. But she looked a little preoccupied. Perhaps he would just creep away really quietly so she wouldn't notice him during her little moment of silence or whatever the heck she was doing....

And that's when he very loudly tripped over a log and came crashing to the ground on a stack of particularly pointy twigs and rocks.

Tallia gasped and her eyes snapped open. Her first reaction was to think it was Rab, following her. Thankfully it wasn't. She saw a male figure scrabbling about in a pile of kindling. She couldn't help but smirk slightly before calling out, "Hey, are you alright?" She didn't get up. In these shoes there was no doubt she'd end up on the floor with him.

[Aaron Tayllore]

He stood up and grinned at her, brushing his plain white undershirt and jeans off, which were covered in a huge amount of grass. "Er, Sorry about that, I'm okay and everything." Turns ninety degrees and starts walking away. "I'll just leave you on your own again then, sorry to disturb you."

[Tallia Gauthier]

"No," Tallia said quickly, without really thinking. "I...I just mean... you don't have to leave." She blushed slightly, pulling her cloak tighter, hoping the red would hide the colour in her cheeks.

[Aaron Tayllore]

Aaron turned back around, hearing her try to stop him. Weird. He couldn't exactly put a post it and sharpie on a label for this one could he? Very mysterious indeed. He laughed kindly and then walked back over. "Okay then," he thrust out his hand, "I'm Aaron."

[Tallia Gauthier]

She took his hand, still sitting down, and smiled warmly. "Tallia Gauthier. Editor of Witch Weekly Magazine," she replied. She studied his face, recognising him from somewhere. "Have I met you before?"

[Aaron Tayllore]

Aaron sat down next to her, feeling, not awkward at all, but amused at the strange meeting place. Him... the editor of witch weekly. Perhaps this was Anna's editor? Urgh, he didn't want to go into Anna right now. "I saw you walking into the Three Broomsticks a couple days ago, but other than that, I don't believe so."

Tallia smiled, recognising him. "Ah yes, I remember. You were at a table with a group of others." She glanced over at him then looked down a little embarrassed.

Aaron grinned at her again and nudged her arm, "What's wrong?" he said, still smiling a little. He wasn't sure why she was looking the way she was, it was weirding him out a little and making him feel kind of funny at the time.

She laughed. She felt so childish. Then again it was a welcome relief to feel so carefree after her encounter with Rabastan. "Nothing's wrong," she said, smiling warmly at him. "So what brings you here?" she asked, looking around. It was a pretty bleak place to come randomly for a wander.

Aaron shrugged that question off, "Guess it's just a quiet place. Away from the crowds, good place to ensure you're not going to stumble across anyone." He said, "Of course, I'm not regretting stumbling across you, maybe that branch back there, but not you." He grinned, not wanting to upset her in anyway.

Tallia giggled. "I can see why you'd want to have avoided that branch. It looked like quite a tumble you took." She bit her lip, looking up at him. "If you, er, don't have to be anywhere, why don't you sit with me for a while?" she asked, motioning to the space beside her.
