*walks gracefully into the small dark pub and orders a rum from the barman*
*looks around, the place was pretty empty. She takes a seat near the back slowing sips her drink*

*Walks into the pub and pulls off her hood shaking her hair out as she does so*
*Glances around noting the small number of people and walks to the bar. After ordering a Firewhisky she sits on a bar stool, poking at the ice in her drink*

*watches as a woman walks in and sits at the bar, wondering who she is she finishes her drink and walks up to the bar to order another one.*
Hello
*she says to the women politely as she leans gently on the bar as the barman gets her, her drink*

*Crosses her leg over her knee, and looks at the woman ordering a drink and smiles as she says hello*
Hi. Liiandra Prewett.
*Holds her hand out for her to shake*

*smiles and shakes the womans hand*
I'm Charlotte, nice to meet you. Are you from around here?
*she asks as the barman puts her drink on the bar, takes a sip*

*Takes a sip of her own drink and smiles*
Nice to meet you too. Uhm, kind of. I live in Hogsmead Villiage, yes, but I've just moved to the UK from France about a month ago, yourself?
*Taps the side of her glass with her ring*

*takes a seat at the bar*
I'm new to, well to Hogsmeade that is, I've been on the family estate in Scotland, but I have been called to London for something important and so here I am!
*laughs*
France? Never been a fan myself. How are you finding England?

*Smiles at her saying shes not a fan of France*
Me either, at the moment.
*Shrugs and sips her drink*
It's okay. Nothing like home, which I welcome greatly.
*Laughs*
So what do you do? Job wise I mean.

*smiles as she senses that there maybe an interesting story behind her not liking France at the moment and makes a mental note to ask more about it*
Oh you know, this and that, nothing interesting I assure you
*she answers evasively, not wishing to broadcast her job to the world. She didn't enjoy being a seer and liked it even less when others knew she was*
What about you? What is it that you do for a living?

*Raises an eyebrow slightly*
Ah, I see.
*Asks the barman for another drink then replies*
Well, not too much at the moment. I was a journalist in France. My Father, self-centred wizard that he is, thinks that he's the reason I left so he guiltily deposits money into my Gringotts account. Quite handy really.
*Smirks*

*laughs delicately*
Yes, I quite agree, fathers are wonderful for money. Of course mine is dead, but he left me everything he had, bless him!
*sips her rum and studies her companion more closely, though discreetly*
So why is it that you left France if you don't mind me asking?

*Laughs, and wonders at the casual way she dropped her fathers death into the convosation*
I don't know whether to give you my sympathies for your loss or congratulate you on your gain?
*Notices the woman studying her, but commends her discreation*
*Becomes slightly uncomfortable at her question, but doesn't blame her for asking*
Uhm, well I only need to mention the words men and bas.tards and I'm sure you'd understand.
*Smiles beautfully, the forcedness only showing slightly*

*smiles*
Oh well you can do both if you like! No my parents died a long time ago in a house fire.
*she says, showing no emotion, she had shut off many of her emotions long ago and only let people see what she thought would get her what she wanted from them*
Yes men cause more problems than they are worth a lot of the time. I find it far easier to not fall in love. Saves a lot of pain as far as I can see. *laughs coldly*
*wanting to know more as she was always fond of a good story, but knew enough to not push the matter*

*Smiles*
They do indeed, and I agree with not falling in love. But sometimes it just... happens. Ah. Enough of that, maybe I'll tell you the full gory details one day! So, I was going to ask you if you had a 'significant other'...?
*Laughs then looks around the pub and sighs irritably*
Merlin, its dead in here. I'm glad you started talking to me or I'm sure I would of left by now.
*Scowls at the barman as he walks past*

*snickers at the thought*
No, there are no men in my life at the moment.
*looks around and nods*
Yeah this place really isn't to exciting, but I'm not one for big crowds so it seemed the best choice in Hogsmeade. Though seeing as my main objective was to meet people it may not have been the best place to come
*shakes her head laughing*
