Ellie looked confused at the people in the lounge. Instead of saying "Hello" , she scrutinized the individuals present, and decided to take a seat next to the inoffensive looking girl with the book.
Ellie raised her eyebrows in -what she hoped was- a friendly manner- to reply to the hello of the strange boy. She ordered a butterbeer, and sipping her drink, inwardly she wondered why a wizard would read an auto-magazine?

Francis glanced up, hearing a voice. He raised an eyebrow at the girl who'd spoken - she wasn't exactly friendly looking, but neither was he. He was irritated at being disturbed. This place was as bad as the bloody Hufflepuff common room. All he wanted was some peace and quite to read his magazine. He was looking for a spark plug for a renault he was rebuilding for his friend back home, and Autotrader had a large section about parts for sale. But he wouldn't get anywhere if he kept getting interrupted.
After glaring at the girl for a moment, he looked back down at the pages of pictured car parts.

Feeling uncomfortable, Ellie took her half-emptied bottle with her outside the lounge, walked a few blocks, and decided to return to Hogwarts.

*Strolls in, looking about with an air of authority, seeing two other young witches and a teenage wizard*
*Nods politely to the witches and shoots the boy an irritated look before taking a seat, pulling a book of charms out of the inner pocket of her cloak and settling in for a bit of reading*

Venus decided to pop into the lounge seeing if there was anyone she knew inside. Looking around she didn't really see anyone but went inside for a drink anyway. She set her cloak on the back of her chair as a drink was set on the table in front of her. She gave the man who had sat it down a wink as he walked away. She ran a hand through her light brown hair and turned to the girl who was reading.
"So...Charms eh?"

Larkin looked up from her book as she heard a female voice break the silence. She saw a pretty witch sitting near her, with a kind smile and an intelligent sparkle in her eyes. She set the book her book down on the table and smiled politely at the witch, feeling that perhaps she had seen her somewhere before.
"Charms have always been my Favourite bit of magic since Hogwarts. I'm Larkin by the way, Larkin Cooper."

Venus smiled, sipping at her drink. She cocked her head to the side, taking a better look at the witch. Larkin was pretty, and Venus never forgot a pretty face. Venus looked around the room to make sure no one could really hear her.
"Tamwell, Venus Tamwell. You look familier. Work at the...Ministry perhaps?"

"It;s nice to meet you Venus. Yes I work at the Ministry, Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. Charms come in handy in my department on occasion. Are you a Ministry employee as well? I feel as if I've seen you before."
Larkin smiled, resting her forearms on the table in front of her and leaning towards the other witch. It had been some time since Larkin had had an intelligent conversation with another person, she honestly didn't get out much, and she was hoping that Venus was up for it.

Of course. That's where she had seen the woman before. Venus nodded, finishing her drink and setting it back on the glass with a clink. She sat silently before answering the woman.
"Yes, I uh....I'm an Auror. I knew I had seen you somewhere before."

An auror. Interesting. Larkin felt she would never have the guts to be an auror, or the drive for that matter. She did however, have a lot of respect for those that did, particularly the women.
"Must keep you on your toes being an Auror. The most excitment I see in a day is a befuddled old wizard with a tea pot for a nose. But it suits me and I'm good at it"
Larkin was growing parched she she decided to order a drink, calling over to the bar keep for a butter beer, then turning her attention back to Venus.

*Rolls his eyes at all the talking*
*Shuts his magazine and walks out, going to find somewhere quieter to read*

Faye wanders into the lounge, head down, eye's averted. Nervously moves to a chair, sitting on the very edge as she opens her books up to begin to study.

Harry walked into the lounge, a hooded cloak pulled tightly around himself. He really didn't want to be recognised today. He had too much to deal with as it was without complicating things still further.
There was a bar in the corner which looked well stocked with a variety of drinks. Glancing around him as he moved, he crossed to the bar and poured himself a firewhiskey. Drinking seemed like a good idea these days - it helped numb the empty hours.

Faye ignored the sound of footsteps, completely absorbed in her books, trying (without mush success) to memorize the ingredients to the Swelling Potion antidote she'd need to make next class.
Reaching for her quill to take notes without looking up, she accidentally knocks over her ink, spilling it everywhere and causing her to jump up, dropping her books.
"Bloody Hell-"
Only now does she notice the other person in the room, cloaked and sitting at the bar. Blushing up to the roots of her hair she drops and scrambles to gather all her spilled things without paying too much attention to the person who witnessed her humiliation.

Harry jumped nervously as there was a clatter from the other side of the room. He had become even more cautious than he had been when he was younger. His right hand rubbed absentmindedly at his left forearm until he winced with the sting of pain from his oozing Dark Mark. He watched as the girl - it was just a very innocent looking girl who had knocked over some ink - went about clearing her things up before he decided to help. Moving away from the bar, he stooped to pick up one of the ink bottles which had rolled his way. "Here," he said, passing it back to her.
