Welcome to the home of Seraphina Bloodworth. Small and cozy, yet not lacking in luxury, be advised that you are not permitted to enter without an invitation; please knock first, or send an owl announcing your presence or that you intend to pay a visit. It is rude, not to mention bad form, to simply drop in as if you lived here. Please be courteous and respectful.

*She unlocks the door to her new home, levitating her trunks and animal cages into the house after her, each being sorted into its designated room. Nile is released from her carrier, and Phantom, her new black-and-white owl, soars from his cage onto the plant by the windowsill, glaring suspiciously at the feline*

Well, it'll do nicely.

*She looks around the somewhat bare furnishing, but is pleased with the spaciousness of the place*

I'll go into town tomorrow, fix this up into a real home. But first...

*She pulls out a spare bit of parchment from her satchel, and a long-feather quill*

I expect Mother will want a word to be sure I'm safe, and it'll put you to good use, Phantom.



*The owl twitches at his name, and hoots softly, as she writes a page-length letter to her mother, then seals it in a small envelope and attatches it to his leg.*

There you go. Give that Kassandra Bloodworth, and no one else!

*Throws open the shutters to let him soar away into the sky toward London before resuming her unpacking.*

*Wakes up the next day; everything is unpacked and folded into wardrobes and dressers, but the kitchen is devoid of dishes, and the windows don't even have so much as a single curtain to drape over them. She walks through hallway, talking to Nile, who follows at her heels*

I'm going down to town today, pick up some things and furbish this house. You stay and keep an eye out for Phantom, and make sure no one gets in.

*Shoulders on her light traveling cloak and leaves her new cottage, locking the door firmly behind her. Nile merely jumps up onto the windowsill where she curls into a ball, waiting for her mistress to return*

[Seraphina Bloodworth]

*Unlocks the door, carrying a large bag of purchases, several more levitating in after her. Quickly hangs her cloak before settling her boxes and bags down on the sitting room floor. Nile rouses from her perch, eyeing the mysterious packages for a treat*

Well, we've got enough food for all of us for a while. Why I didn't think to bring one of the house-elves, I'll never know, but I suppose a witch has to learn to feed herself some time.

*Glances about at the bare room*

Let's get to redecorating, shall we?

*Gracefully flicking her wand, curtains, sitting loungers, oil candles and accents start to furbish the room, creating a cozy, yet elegant atmosphere.*



Doesn't it look lovely now? Oh, I absolutely love this view as well, nothing but wide open country, you couldn't get such unspoiled wilderness in London!



*Raises an eyebrow at the cat*

What do you think, Nile? Cozy, but not too pretentious?

*The feline responds with a single utterance of a meow*

Good enough for me. Now, let's get to supper, shall we?

*Begins to busy herself in the kitchen*

I got your letter and I agree it has been way too long since we have seen eachother. I will try to stop by when I get the chance but I am very busy right now and there is alot for me to get done. If you like I am giving you an open invitation to come to my home whenever you like, just try to let me know beforehand as I would not like stranger apparating into my home.

*Sees Daphne's letter, picks it up and reads it. Scribbles a quick note to send back to her when Phantom returns from hunting*

Well, that's just as well, I've still got quite a bit to do before I'm finished settling in. But I've done enough for one day, I think I'll go to bed now.

*Blows out the candles before retreating upstairs. Walks into her room, she changes into her gown, climbs under her thin satin covers, now too warm for her duvet, and falls asleep*

*Wakes up, feeling refreshed. Glances about her, feeling the warm feline snuggled at her feet; hears the owl hooting softly from his cage downstairs, returned from his nocturnal escapades*

I suppose I'll take a lazy day today, and just relax at home.

*Slowly climbs out of bed, pleased with the redecorating as she walks across the room to her large wardrobe*



*Ponders to herself, riffling through her clothes*

Oh, what to wear.... well, since I won't be going out, may as well not bother with dressing to impress.

*Dons a simple maroon dress before heading downstairs for breakfast*

*Apparates into her home, having no luck with visiting Draco and Silvery at the manor*

Perhaps I'll just make a cup of tea and read a good book this evening.

*Pulls out a thick hardcover from her large bookshelf*

Hmmm. Haven't read this one yet. Guess now's a good time as any.

*Accios a hot cup of tea and settles into her plush armchair to read*

*Steps up to the front porch of the cottage, still feeling the chill*

Well, this is where I stop.

Rookwood faced her as she stepped on the front porch. "Beautiful cottage." He said. "Will I be seeing you again?" He asked, though he wished he didnt - it felt like a awkwardly romantic question and he wasnt like that, I suppose it was the contact they had knowing her twin-sister.
