*enters the kitchen, seeing the lovely view outside*

Hmm. Perhaps I'll go for a walk, it'll be nice and peaceful....

*throws on a warm cloak and leaves the house*

*lets go of Augustus's hand as he apparates all three of them into the cottage*

You two can make yourselves comfortable in the living room, while I brew us some coffee. Augustus, if you could start up a fire in the fireplace, that would be wonderful.

*goes into the kitchen, which is open to the living room, and dining room as well, in one great room*

*Rookwood nodded, and started a fire, which seemed to loosen his tightly clad-tshirt and sat down by his brother*

So...whats your occupation nowadays? The worlds famous Chaser?

*starts boiling water in a pot, looking up at her godfather and the stranger who was his brother, trying to observe the two, especially the latter*

*chuckles softly when he mentions Quidditch, remembering her younger sisters had always made her Chaser in their backyard games when they were children*

*Athaniel laughed as he sat down by Augustus*

No...sadly, sometimes I wish I took up that offer by the Montrose Magpies to be their Chaser.

*He shook his head lightly*

No.....I'm an Auror at the Ministry of Magic.

*Rookwood took a gulp of fear, trying not to show it, his insides lurching*

*He fakely laughed*

Heheh.....well....thats, thats great.....

*her eyes widen in shock, and she turns her back to the men, trying to hold in the choking sound in her voice, covering it with a cough*

Salazar's teeth, Rook's brother is an Auror? Oh, this is not good, not good at all...

*Athaniel laughed so hard that a tear of laughter formed, he wiped it away and slapped his brother on the back*

Dont worry Augustus! I'm not going to turn you in....

*He then spoke seriously.*

*He whispered*

*Augustus sighed in relief*

Great.....

*He stared into the fire.*

*summons up her control, and pours the coffee into the mugs*

*brings them over into the living room, placing each mug down in front of Augustus and Ace*

There you go. Guaranteed to drive off even the most mind-numbing chill.

*sits in the loveseat across from them, taking a sip and feeling soothing warmth go down straight through her bones*

*remains slightly uneasy, in the presence of an Auror, but takes her cues from Augustus, and says nothing, forcing a polite smile*

*Athaniel sips the coffee, feeling sudden warmth return to him. He looked up and noticed it was the first time he really saw Seraph. He smiled warmly, looking at her, then blushed, looking away.*

Dont worry....as long as you dont make the Wanted Wizards List your not going to get caught...and your not on it.

*He reassured his brother*

*Rookwood looked at Ace and smirked when he blushed after looking at Seraphina, he nudged him*

I appreciate that Athaniel. I do.

*He grinned lightly*

*catches him staring at her, and notices him blush*

Oh, no... this is almost worse!

*doesn't like the smirk on Rookwood Senior's lips, and tries to frown without seeming impolite*

*Tries to ignore the nudge, and nudges Augustus back.*

*Stiffles a laugh and gets up, going to re-fill his cup after gulping it*
