*Further breaks into her mind, feeling his side become stronger. He felt another memory coming.*

*desperately tries not to give in, but feels the familiar rush of emotion, this time, a hazed flurry of memories spilling from her mind*

_{*...her first day at Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat declaring her a Slytherin;... flashing now to her mother's crying face as her father stormed out yet again;... blurring into her own dark suspicious eyes as she rejected yet another suitor in school;... suddenly flying into the Leaky Cauldron as she seduced Bill Weasley;... before once more showing Sapphira, now older and leaving for DE training....*}

*cries out*

[Augustus Rookwood]

*Rookwood broke the gaze, ending the curse. He regretted. Not wishing he had seen what he had seen. He got up and resumed his old postition at the window.*

Yes....I-I think thats enough. You did better that time. Good job.

[Seraphina Bloodworth]

*collapses down on the couch, breathing hard, holding back the tears*

*says nothing, her head downcast, burying her face in her hands*

*He shifted his eyes barely, but could still see her out of the corner of his eye. He waited a few minutes and turned around and sat by her. Not sure what he should do.*

*makes no motion or sign of acknowledgment as he sits next to her, but keeps her face in her hands, trying to control the tears and get her voice back before she dares to lift her head*

*tries to breathe slowly, forcing her pounding heart back down into her chest*

*suddenly leaps up and wordlessly strides into the kitchen, starting to pull out two mugs, preparing the kettle*

*keeps her back to him, hoping he doesn't say anything that will set her off again*

*He looked up as she strode to the kitchen*

Seraph. What do you want me to say?

*Was what he could muster*

[Seraphina Bloodworth]

*stops as he speaks, about to put coffee grounds into the mugs*

*replies, trying not to choke*

Nothing.

*resumes her movements around the kitchen, nervously waiting for the kettle to boil*

*He got up sensing a nervousness about her, and walked over to Seraph.*

Are you intimidated by me?

*He said, trying not to take pleasure to the fact.*

*avoids his eyes as she pours the now boiling water into the mugs*

*secretly hating the fact he'd seen things she'd never shared with anyone else*

*He circled around her and forced her to look into his eyes.*

You do fear me...

*He spoke after studying her.*

*shrugs, trying to forget her heart-sickening emotion earlier*

You scare the living hell out of me when you're angry. I suppose that's it.

*tries to look away*

And the fact he's witnessed some of my worst moments....

*He backed off, feeling not angry, but saddened*
