I know. My mother made sure we never picked up American accents when we visited grandparents in the states. 'So common', she jokes all the time. So when we get in rows with her, we pretend to side with father and show our support for him by adopting American accents. It's hilarious.

*standing up and going into the kitchen*

Jumped the pond on study abroad and fell in love.

*pokes her head out from the kitchen*

*comes out of the kitchen and places some cookies on the little wobbly table by the sofa*

Merlin, I need to put another stabalizing charm on this.

*The table wobbles and a picture falls off it.*

*places it back on the table and sits back down*

*pretends to put a crown on her head with a huge smile*

I'm afraid not... France is a Democratic country, we don't have kings or queens. But if we did I'm sure they'd be reserved for old people.

Oh, I am quite behind on my recent history.

*looks over to her bedroom*

Thanks again for the bed set. I love practical gifts and you can't get more practical than a place to sleep. *laughs*

I wonder why Noelle was in such a hurry to get us all out of the house... If she and George got into a fight she'd just lock herself in her bathroom.

*nods* Yea, Well as long as she can unlock the door she'd be find.
Those two could never stay apart too long anyway.

*Stands up, suddenly scared*

I'm going to check the house, you want to come?

*Not sure if he wants her coming, scared somthing might have actually happened and he could be putting her in danger, but Elena didn't strike him as the kind of girl who will accept a no*

*shakes her head*

No way, I'm coming.

*grabs her coat and puts her wand in her side pocket.*
