Elena's Rented Room[6]

*has two notes in her hand. One is the welcome to Hogsmeade brochure her landlady gave her, as well as a bill for half the first month's rent. The second, a note from her parents, in which desribes how their family was so lucky to find such a cheap place for Elena and she should be thankful and la di da and her siblings will visit whenever they want and she can stay their as long as she can pay half the rent and blah blah blah they heard it needs some cleaning up, keep up your grades, we love you, Elena.*


Bugger.

As of the New Year...Elena finally got her apartment together.

*takes her Sunday to clean up the little room. It comes with a bathroom and small kitchen however, so if she can just make it a little more homely, Elena plans to stay here after graduation.*


*deep down, she feels a bit sad, as if her parents have cut her loose and she's not as welcome back in Liverpool.....*


*gets to undusting everything*

*wonders if she should owl over Antoine....but where does he live....she can't remember if he stays at Noelle's flat*



*takes out her wand and attempts to paint the walls*

A new place, huh? I'd love to come over and help you, but I find myself in a difficult situation right now... Wait, you talked to my brother- He's not joining us in DADA, or did he say he was? Oh boy... well, I'll talk to you later... I've got to be alone right now...

*sighs, thinking of how she has to get back to Hogwarts soon to prepare to classes tomorrow*

*The large brown Owl flies in with a letter in its beak*

Dear Elena,
I'm sorry... I can't blame you for what happened, and I apologize for yelling at you, I was distraught, but I'm fine now, everything has been worked out. I apologize to you for having to deal with my brother as well. If that offer is still up, I'd love to help you with your room, perhaps I can get Don to help too, he's rather good at charms.

*puts down her paintbrush and runs to open the door*

*Holds up a HUGE basket of goodies going from sandwhiches to butterbeers to chocolate*

I brought FOOD!

*laughs*

*Elena smiles, but then starts to tear up*

Oh Noelle. I'm sorry come in. *Takes the covering off the couch*

I have just had a huge fight with Michelle and Priscilla in class. *sob* Guess what over....

*Happy eyes burrow into worry and she wraps her arm around Elena, making her sit down on the sofa*
