Thank you. Well, I didn't mean to teach you anything today but *points to board* whoops. *gives that dry chuckle and opens his planners*
Well, why don't you all write up a list of family trinkets for next class, a sort of, show and tell. We will go over what common items are often used for, then start into some brief....*sees Elena roll her eyes*....real brief history.
Class dismissed.

Well, Miss Cheever, five will be great. *leans in closer* Even a spoon can have some dark mystical powers.
*with a laugh, charms the spoon in his tea to spin violently. So, that all the tea evaporates.*
See?

Priscilla noted Elana's gesture, and packed her stuff.
"Good day, sir," she said politely, and followed Elena's trail.

*pulls books out*
Here. They're yours now. *laughs* I'd keep them away from Mug-man though! Oh, I mean, Professor Giles. Yes, well. Is our pact complete?
*There are three books, moldering, yellowed pages and leather bound.*
Moste Evile Enchants of Hampshire A Collectors Guide to Amulets The Completed Circle: Analysis of Ritualism in Wizarding Society
*shrugging* They are really random, but full of hocus pocus and stuff.

Priscilla first made certain that the Professor was nowhere in sight (nor they in his sight, for that matter), and then reached out to accept the books. The very moment she touched them, that feeling of getting glued re-appeared, connecting both hands to the books. Crawling up and out from underneath the the flesh of their hands the same cockroaches came scuttling about, and then centered at the middle of the books. There they swarmed until they formed into a ball that slowly grew smaller, and finally had turned into the little pebble Pris had put into her hand when they first made their agreement. The glued sensation disappeared again, and Priscilla caught the little ball as she put the books into her bag.
"It is complete," she said, with a content look.

*From at his desk in his office, he sets down a pearly conch that had been glowing on his desk. The voices of his two students rang clear...he had heard their conversation from meters away and now was interested.*
...I want those books....

*Rushes in, it's a new day. The curtains cannot hide the sunlight shining in making bright slants across the stone floor of the DADA room. His planner and class roster tucked under his hand, his mug in the other, Giles whistles his way between the desks to his own.*
He writes on the board, taking long stokes and relishing the shrill noise of the chalk.
Lesson 2:: Brief History
I. The Serpent demon ritualized the apple from the One Tree to possess Eve into betraying The First. 2. Pharaohs in Ancient Egypt were endowed with the power to ritualized certain objects. These were then placed in tombs or on alters. 3. Priestesses of early Britain were able to calm many muggle illnesses by de-ritualizing souls. 4. Asian sages de-ritualized muggles for hefty prices. 5. Class C rituals were outlawed in 1659. These attempt to bring about demons, large unbalances in nature and/or the apocalypse.

*Noelle walks in, always the early one, and sets her books on an empty desk. She pulls out a quill and parchment and begins copying down the notes. She observes her notes when she is finnished. The word muggle stands out most prominantly, and she eyes it disdainfully.*
"Bonjour (hello), Professor Giles, Seems like today will be a very interesting lesson, I especially take intrest in C rituals... from what I read so far, they seem quite dangerous and exciting."
Noelle smiled at the teacher, though not quite in just a mannerly way, more focused toward the morbid side of the lessons of which they were to study today.

*folding his arms and breathing deeply*
Why yes, I am quite keen on Class C ritual myself. Well, studying them, I don't entend to bring about the end of the world....not yet. *kind smile*
Tell me what, you are certainly a very smart student. Why don't you stop by my office after class. You can see some of my trinkets from my years in exile.

*Enters, glad that she enjoyed the reading and ready to discuss dark Sits up close, next to Noelle and smiles to her. Begins to copy notes and smiles to Professor Giles.*
