*Blinks surprised that he's stopped.*
I-I don't like to see anyone h-h-hurt thems-selves.
*She shudders a bit, sniffling.*
I-It isn't r-r-right for you to c-c-cause yours-self p-pain, Dobby.
*Eyes wash over every inch of the elf checking for injuries.*
You're n-not hurt are y-you?
*Wipes the tears from her eyes with the sleeve of her robes.*

You sound like Harry Potter. Dobby is used to punishing himself. It is what house elfs do when they do wrong.

*With tears still shining in her eyes she takes her seat, nodding.*
I know I've seen it before, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I wasn't raised to relish in anyone's pain no matter how it is inflicted. Thank God, I was raised in a loving muggle family, because some of the things I've seen over my few years here simply disgusts me.
I'm sorry for pestering you, Dobby, you just made me a bit curious is all. I won't ask anymore questions.
*Grabs her textbook, hugging it to her chest, and rises from the seat.*

You should speak with Harry Potter! Or Wheezy! Maybe they will teach you their magic!

*Smiles, giggling.*
I'm sure there is enough on their plates already, they don't need a sixteen year old to teach as well, but thanks anyway.
*Steps around the long bench, and wipes her eyes again.*
I've loads of herbology to catch up with so I'll see you later, I hope.
*Shakes the text book, and waves to the elf.*
Maybe we can become friends.
*Smiles warmly, and starts to walk toward the exit.*

Goodbye, pretty witch
*Dobby slinks off back to the kitchen, rubbing his head*

*Looks back over her shoulder to Dobby.*
See you, little one.
*She smiles brightly one last time before turning her head to face the exit, and sweeps out of the great hall to make her way back to the common room.*

*Tosses her hair over her shoulders as she walks confidently toward the Slytherin table, a new sense of self has filled her since her encounter with The Dark Lord in Top Meadow.*
*Approaches the long wooden table, slipping onto the bench far away from her other house mates. Not paying them any mind she pulls out a page of parchment, and a quill from her shoulder bag. Carefully she smooths out the parchment on the table top, and begins to write a letter to her father. She writes excitedly, explaining in full detail of her encounter at Top Meadow when suddenly she isn't aware of the letter, or the school, instead she's is focused upon the voice in her mind, it's his voice, The Dark Lord is summoning her to Diagon Alley. At once she hops off the bench, and rushes out of the Great Hall leaving all of her belongings behind.*
*She rushes out of the school, and sprints the whole way to Hogsmeade where she can apparate from there to Diagon Alley.*

*Evelyn walks into the Great Hall, feeling hungry. She hurries to the Gryffindor table and spots a friend. She sidles over to Olivia Lillywhite and sits down. *
Hey, how are you Olivia. I'm so tired from last night and I just can't wait for classes.
*She waits and while she waits for a response she grabs a spoon and ladles herself a glass of pumpkin juice, She then scoops food onto her golden plate.*

*Curtis stepped into the greathall with his stomach growling. He had been sleeping up until the late afternoon, which was hard to immagine with his stomach having been growling for the past three hours or so. He took his seat at the hufflepuff table and grabbed a few pieces of sandwich bread, and began assembling his sandwich until he ended up with a huge hero.*
nothing beats a curt-made sandwich
*He admired his work proudly and took a large bite, chewing thoroughly and enjoying the flavors of the turkey meat, lettuce, and juicy tomato whose juices were now wallowing hin his mouth*

Post by Prof. Filius Flitwick on Apr 27, 2010 5:29:09 GMT
*The professor walks into the Great Hall in a certain strutting manner, with books clasped tightly between his hands. He headed towards the Ravenclaw table hoping to come across some fresh First years and laze his free time.*
*He looked lost in some thought, he seemed absent minded as though there was something much more important which he had to deal with but he couldnt get to it. Even he let out certain shrieks out of anger over some students who almost dashed him in the way. This irate character of his definitely would have surprised the onlooking students as it was not normal for Prof. Flitwick to be such, he was a mirthful character, full of enthusiasm and always up with some or the other good deed.*

Jennessa made her way into the Great Hall. Goodness she was hungry, she felt as if she hadn't eaten all day! Oh wait... She hadn't. She slept through breakfast and then did her homework through Lunch! Thankfully she had some goodies stashed away in her Dorm, so she had a tiny snack around Noon, but that hardly constituted for Lunch. And so to the Hufflepuff table she would skip, humming one of her many Disney songs that she often had stuck in her head. Today's choice was Hakkuna Matata from The Lion King.
She smiled brightly as she found a seat at the Hufflepuff table and began to pile things on her plate quite eagerly.

Nancy wandered into the Great Hall, ready for some food after a day cooped up in the library. At least the essay was done now and she was free to enjoy the evening. No doubt she'd get another one tomorrow but she tried not to think about that. She made her way over to the Hufflepuff table, sat down and started piling food onto her plate. After a day alone with only books and parchment for company, she was looking forward to some conversation. She poured herself a large goblet of pumpkin juice and glanced down the table to see who else was there.

Nessa had been rather focused upon her food, but when someone moved right across from her and sat down, she looked up, shaking back her oddly colored bangs that had fallen into her face. That brilliant smile leapt into place there upon her lips, lighting up her eyes at who she saw. Another Hufflepuff of her own year. A dormmate. "Good evening Nancy, how are you?"
Little headtilt given as food was forgotten for the moment, awaiting the other's answer.

Nancy smiled as she noticed Nessa nearby, and shifted down to sit opposite her. "I'm doing great, thanks" she said in reply, "So happy to have got Flitwick's essay out of the way, even if it did take all day. I've been having one of those irritating days where your brain just won't function, you know what I mean? Anyway, it's done now. How about you? What've you been up to?"
