Have you read MM's Decrees : Yes Reason for wanting non-canon: I can create my own history for my own character Name of character: Veronica Cathleen Monty Male or female?: Female Blood type: Pureblood Occupation of character: Student (Ravenclaw Hopefully) Age of character: 16 Which 'side' is character on?: Dark Side Very Brief background of character: Veronica was born into utmost luxury, as the youngest child with two older brothers Veronica has been pampered all her life and has never wanted for anything. But Veronica always wanted to be her own person and not rely on just her family's fortune, she was alway's a smart girl, however her parent's never encouraged her to use her talents at all, let alone for good, so when her oldest brother got married and the other moved away Veronica decided that it was time to let her talents be used, but not for good, oh no Veronica turned to evil where she knew that her abilities would be appreciated. Hello Raven, Just to let you know, students are only allowed to play in Hogwarts and Hogsmead during the school year. Also, you need to choose a house to be sorted into. Have you read MM's Decrees : Yes Reason for wanting non-canon: So I can make up a new character Name of character: Nick Jaguar Hyde Male or female?: Male Blood type: Pureblood Occupation of character: Student (Ravenclaw Hopefully) Age of character: 19 Which 'side' is character on?: Dark Side Very Brief background of character: Nick did not know he was a wizard until his thirteenth birthday. His father would keep the Hogwarts letters a sercet from him. Nick soon found out and he embraced his wizard skills. He went to Hogwarts and he was sorted into Ravenclaw. Once at Hogwarts, Nick mixed with some Slytherins and he became a death eater to help the Dark Lord Voldemort. Nick liked becoming a deatheater. Once a deatheater, he rebelled at home when he went home for the holidays and he also joined in a rock and roll wizard band. In the band he played lead guitar and he was the vocalist too. Reason for wanting non-canon: Well, to make a long answer short, I simply find that I play original characters better than canon characters, simply because I don't have any limitations. As well, I usually create long and lengthy histories for all my original characters, which helps me understand them so much more.
Name of character: Angelique Paquet
Male or female?: Female
Blood type: Pureblood
Occupation of character: Reporter
Age of character: Eighteen
Which 'side' is character on?: Angelique is on nobody's side, she is on her own side.
Very Brief background of character: Angelique was born to Marie Elisabeth Clement and Jean Francois Paquet, both who are from long lines of pureblood families. She originally attended Beauxbatons, for she was born and raised in the countryside of France. However, the summer right before her seventh year, her father decided to move the family to England, resulting in Angelique attendance at Hogwarts for her final year. She was sorted into Slytherin for that one year, and as soon as she graduated, she moved back in with her mother and father.
As of right now, she still lives with her parents at the family castle in the countryside of England. However, she knows that her father is planning on drawing up a marriage contract for her, so she's doing her best to get out of the family castle and to find a residence of her own.
What sections of the board would you like to RP in? Hogsmeade, St. Mungos, Gordic's Hollow, Diagon Alley, Possibly Ministry Of Magic (Her father works there), Maybe Malfoy Manor because her father is a death eater as well.
Your level of RP in your estimation: Although I usually post in third person, I have the tendency to write the character's history in first person. Also, I am quite advanced in paragraph style rping, and my posts usually vary from one sentence to five or six paragraphs when my muse is good. However, the reason that I joined this site is to try posting in a different style, and hopefully I'll become more and more experienced in this style, =D

Nick - your character is a little too old to be a student! They usually leave Hogwarts at 18, unless they're repeating their NEWTS or something. Can you make him 15 or 16 perhaps?

Reason for wanting character: Im going to a con next month and my one friend is probabaly going to want me to join his Vampire RP and it would be nice to have some practice with them. Also it seems a little bizzare to me that all the vampires are related here. Name of character:Genevieve Dieudonne Male or female?: Female Blood type: vampire Occupation of character: anything that is needed (Haunt and Goblin bar maybe? Age of character:600+ Which 'side' is character on?: neutral/ somewhat good Very Brief background of character: Turned into a vampire while she was 16, traveles thoughout the world and has done just about everything there is to do on the planet, and tries to do anything to relieve her boredom. Is not a mindless feeder, usually only feeding on willing victims, and tries to avoid killing. She has killed on occasion, but only if the planet is better off without them. What sections do you want to RP in: Bars, Society for the Tolarance of Vampires. I know you not really looking for vampires now, the reason I tried to make her very different. It is not a big deal if she is rejected (I will most likely be running something it that time slot anyway) or she can even be a cameo. There is also a Vampire RPG site advertised on here from time to time I can try joining. Yes I did get the name and idea from the Genevieve books.  |

Hi Roger,
Will allow this character for a time-limited cameo role only. You will have 6 weeks max for this character from the first RP post you make as her. Towards the end of your 6 weeks, please try and round off any plots you may have and have a viable reason for the exiting of your character.

Reason for creating new character: I guess I find it easier creating my own characters, when I know everything there is about them ((:
Age of character: Eighteen
Which 'side' is character on?: She doesn't really follow a side. It's all about right and wrong, therefore she is on her own.
Background of character: Abigail was born in Paris, France. She was supposed to attend Beaxounton Academy but her father decided moving to London and attending Hogwarts would be more worldly enriching for her. While at Hogwarts she had no trouble in school but absolutely loathed every moment of it. She wanted to return to France. At 17 she intended to return as she had planned for so long but her mother fell ill. Thus forcing her to stay at home and care for her. She had to find a job close to her home, and decided on reporting as she'd always had a strong passion for writing.

Hi Abigail, welcome to MM! Couple of things about your application: 1. If she's a pureblood witch, why would she only be told about her ancestry and abilities when she's 9 years old? Most purebloods and even halfbloods grow up being educated at home and then go to Hogwarts at age 11. And if she's part of a wealthy and popular pureblood family, are her parents the elitist type or are they more like the Weasleys? 2. Why would she be visiting friends on her own in Portugal at the age of 9? It's a bit far-fetched. Family would be more likely. I wasn't allowed out of my front garden on my own at age 9! 3. She will need a job of some description. I know my character needs an assistant for her lingerie shop in Knockturn Alley, you can always send her an owl about that. Please have a think about these points, then fix what needs fixing, and we will make a decision then. |

Name of character: Elena Sykes Male or female?: Female Blood type: Pure Occupation of character: Student Age of character: 17 Which 'side' is character on?: Dark Side, Lord Voldemorts Very Brief background of character: Elena came from a fairly neutrtal wizardig family, who chose not to interfere at all with the issues of the wizarding world. They only considered the health and safety of their own family. However, it was still a disgrace to them when their son Marcus (now 27) became a loyal follower of the Dark Lord. His actions allowed Elena to be welcomed among the Slytherins in her first year of Hogwarts. Under the influence of her peers, Elena began to share the same common ideals of their 'side'. However, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Whilst she is not a death eater, she does hoep that it is something that she may be able to do one day. What sections of the board would you like to RP in? all/any Your level of RP in your estimation:advanced/ experienced - but i have no problem with writing in an intermediate manner. |
