Reason for wanting non-canon: Well, to make a long answer short, I simply find that I play original characters better than canon characters, simply because I don't have any limitations. As well, I usually create long and lengthy histories for all my original characters, which helps me understand them so much more.
Name of character: Angelique Paquet
Male or female?: Female
Blood type: Pureblood
Occupation of character: Adult
Age of character: Eighteen
Which 'side' is character on?: Angelique is on nobody's side, she is on her own side.
Very Brief background of character: Angelique was born to Marie Elisabeth Clement and Jean Francois Paquet, both who are from long lines of pureblood families. She originally attended Beauxbatons, for she was born and raised in the countryside of France. However, the summer right before her seventh year, her father decided to move the family to England, resulting in Angelique attendance at Hogwarts for her final year. She was sorted into Slytherin for that one year, and as soon as she graduated, she moved back in with her mother and father.
As of right now, she still lives with her parents at the family castle in the countryside of England. However, she knows that her father is planning on drawing up a marriage contract for her, so she's doing her best to get out of the family castle and to find a residence of her own.
What sections of the board would you like to RP in? Hogsmeade, St. Mungos, Gordic's Hollow, Diagon Alley, Possibly Ministry Of Magic (Her father works there), Maybe Malfoy Manor because her father is a death eater as well.
Your level of RP in your estimation: Although I usually post in third person, I have the tendency to write the character's history in first person. Also, I am quite advanced in paragraph style rping, and my posts usually vary from one sentence to five or six paragraphs when my muse is good. However, the reason that I joined this site is to try posting in a different style, and hopefully I'll become more and more experienced in this style, =D

We aren't accepting any more Veela at this time, sorry about that.
If you would like to adapt your character slightly and re-apply that would be good.
Your BG is just too long - I appreciate the effort and the detail, but you are only applying for a character so there is no need to go into such lengths for the application.
MM operates a freestyle RP meaning you can para if you like, but we insist on 3rd person RP and preferably present tense. You switch between 1st and 3rd halfway through your BG.
You do not need to go into great detail about your parents BG, only your own. Please try to only write 2 (or 3 max) paragraphs at a time in your RPs and in any profile fields.
Also please can you write in bigger/standard size text- we can read it much more comfortably. I've had to really zoom in on my browser!

Hey, thanks for looking over my application so quickly,  However, I was wondering, would you be accepting veelas any time soon? I'm willing to wait until veela's are being accepted again because I usually play her on other sites and I'm so used to her history, etc. So yeah, if that's what it takes, I'm willing to wait. (Hey, that rhymed! XD)

Yes, that'll work. Just make another application without any references to being a veela and choose a house that isn't Slytherin. Then follow Draco's instructions about the profile and background and we'll take it from there. Thanks, Angelique. |

Alright, I've edited the profile, and now Angelique has already graduated from Hogwarts. I've also removed all the references to her being a veela, and I've changed her history quite a bit. however, I put down that she is a Slytherin graduate, is that alright? Also, I've changed the previous post so that another post would not be necessary. Hopefully everything's better now, |

Angelique yes it's better but can you choose one of accepted occupations? It would be great to have her as a student though as we are always looking for more (non slytherins) Ellie, sounds interesting. Just to confirm we currently have a few handmaidens recently apply. There isn't a limit on 'maidens' at the manor as such but we don't want too many at once and there have to be the right factors for you to be considered. We don't usually have new members apply for 'maiden' as a general rule - they are usually Hogwarts grads and have been at MM for a small while at least. We currently only accept Ministry workers and Hogwarts student non canons. Thanks.  |
