As a Law Enforcer you could never know what to expect. There were times you had to do nothing but filling out files, which was the boring part. At least it was how Yaxley felt. Not that he cared about any other opinion, especially when it came from those Muggle loving fools at the Ministry. How could they tolerate affiliating - or even worse - pairings with these abominations? The Death Eater shuddered in disgust.
One of the large mirrors within Yaxley Manor was reflecting Alistair's brutish features while he adjusted his black tie that fit to his dark business suit. Today's shift would begin in about thirty minutes, meaning he would have to depart any time soon. With all those wizards and witches working there, one always had to consider how much longer getting a lift might take. Naturally some people were more predestined to stand in the way than others. Often even greeting certain individuals afforded body control, yet he had handled it for years.
Yaxley reached for the suitcase near his feet and disapparated, hoping that this world would be a better place for Pure-bloods as soon as it was under his master's command once and for all.
