*nods again at the offer for wine*

I assumed as much. I hope my curriculum is not under investigation. Again.

Hardly, I just wish to be up to date with what each of the professor's have planned. I am finding some of them decidedly below standard and believe they may need to be replaced.

*muses, smirking slightly*

Though I'm sure you are not one of them.

[Professor Giles]

*speaks rather proudly*

My curriculum has been approved by Dolores Umbridge herself. I am sure to guide the upper level students into new forms of magical Defence that are commonly employed in other regions of the world. I make sure they are fully prepared for exams, of course.

*goes a bit quiet*

If I may ask, who are the teachers under question.

[Severus Snape]

*nods*

Yes I have been pleased with what I have learnt about your classes so far. Make sure you keep it up. As for the other Professor's I am currently looking into finding as a new Muggle Studies teacher. The current one has proved useless in the extreme. There will also be others I am sure who do not live up to my standards.

[Professor Giles]

*drains his glass*

Just a few more days an then term officially begins anew. I hear the new students are promising.

[Severus Snape]

*nods*

Indeed we have a number of new students starting, time will tell if they are promising or not.

*stands*

Now Professor, I really must get back to work

[Hagrid]

*Raises his huge fist to the oak door and tries to gently knock three times, but instead the knocks boom out.*

*Straightens his jacket and clears his throat, he wasn't looking forward to this meeting with Snape.*

*hears the loud banging and deduces that the oaf Hagrid must have finally remembered the way to his office.*

*small smirk while thinking about what he is about to do to the imbecile*

[Hagrid]

*Clears his throat loudly as he enters the room, seeing the greasy git sitting behind Dumbledore's desk made his blood boil, but instead of kicking Snape up and down the room like he wanted, he just shut the door behind him.*

"Ye asked fur me to come an' see ye, Headmaster?"

[Severus Snape]

Yes, I have some unpleasant news to deliver

*looks at the great oaf with something very akin to glee in his eyes, showing that for him the news was anything but unpleasant to deliver*

I am afraid the Ministry has been pushing me to raise standards here at Hogwarts and as a result, after an in depth evaluation, I have come to the conclusion that while you will be able to stay on as grounds keeper, you will no longer be a professor at this school

*a smirk twists on his lips*

[Hagrid]

*Fists clench tightly as Snape reveals that he is sacked from his teaching position. Hagrid starts forward and points his stubby finger at Snape's face, revulsion oozing out of him.*

"YE CANNAE DO THA'! I LOVE MY JOB! DUMBLEDORE GAV' ME THA' POSTION!"

*Due to his anger, Hagrid's hair was standing on end, his face was red and blotchy and he was almost close to tears.*

*looks at the giant boredly*

Dear me, this may just bring a tear to my eye.

*glares dangerously*

I can and I have, now please remove your self from my office, I am expecting your replacement presently

[Hagrid]

*Bangs his fist down on the desk making it tremble and knock papers to the floor.*

"One day Snape, yer gonna get wha's coming to ye, an' yer deserve th' deepest level o' Hell ya greasy git!"

*Storms out of the room, slamming the door so hard that it comes off of it's hinges.*

[Severus Snape]

*waves his wand lazily and everything the imbecile had disturbed was back to it's original state, a smirk on his face*

[Ministry Owl]

*Large barn owl flutters in through the partially open window, containing a light green sealed envelope. Upon landing, the envelope opens, and soft words are spoken, in the voice of Rufus Scrimgeour*

Severus,
I require a meeting with you. It appears that your position as Headmaster has become subject to question, and I need to clear things up to keep you there. In the absence of Dumbledore, you were the successor, but I need an urgent update on Hogwarts desipline and protocol. It has been a while since the last update, and I can't help but wonder why the long pause.

I await your response by Owl, or visit in my office. Owl preferable.
