~~Zero Quinn~~~~Her tears continue to drop and she sniffs.~~ There was only ever you. You were the only one I wanted. But if you don't love me the way that I love you... then there is little I can do. ~~She reaches into her robe and pulls out the key, holding it out for Zero.~~ *He tilts his head like a curious child, repeating his reassurances that this Venus isn't real in his thoughts as she continues to cry. He feels terrible for causing the real Venus pain, but he cannot help whom he loves.* *Blinks with disbelief as she pulls out a key from her robes, his green eyes follow it as she holds it out toward him.* R- Right.*Glances to Pensive Venus, and the key with a quick succession of passes, uncertain if he should take it. This could be another part of the task, but there is only one way from him to find out.* *Carefully reaches out, and grasps the key between his fingers, his eyes held fast to Venus', checking for any sort of signal if there's to be trouble. Nothing happens as he gently plucks the key from her fingers, and lays it into the palm of his hand.* *He smiles to the key, and then looks once again to Venus, giving her a curt nod.* Right. Thanks. *Turns quickly away from the vision, and scrambles his way out of the Pensive, back to the room in which he was to use to the key to escape from. Once out of the Pensive, he gives a nervous chuckle, feeling the weight of the key in his hand, and his thoughts once again touch on Sebastian. Zero is most happy to know that he will be able to see his love again, for a moment there he wasn't sure he'd ever escape the Pensive, but he has, and now he moves his way to the magically padlocked door.* *At the door, Zero turns the key over in his hand as he regards the padlock, and then he gives a little shrug. Mentally he says a little prayer.* Please allow this key to take me back to my love, my dearest Sebastian. *And, with that out of the way he quickly slides the key into the padlock, and gives a turn, hoping that this will all be over in just a moments time.*

If this was a competition to see who got out the fastest...Peter was losing. He knew he wasn't the smartest crayon in the box, but he was smart enough to figure out a riddle. His masters protege came and told him that that the shapes symbolized things in the room. Well he knew that. It was just the fact that his adrenaline was pumping so fast he couldn't think clearly. Looking at the shapes and looking back at the hanging bodies, it suddenly clicked. Taking the knife, he went to each of the bodies and cut a whole in the stomach, almost vomiting in the process. He hoped that there was something in the bodies for him to take that he could put on the stone carved patterns.

~~Rodolphus LeStrange~~~~The water disappears and where the pool was is now an empty hole with a ladder leading down to the next room.~~ ~~The ladder comes down inside a cave which was once full of water.~~ ~~On the opposite side of the cave is another hole in the ceiling leading to the next room.~~ *Smirks as the water disappears and when he is sure it has all gone he whispers* Lumos. *Using the light from his wand he spots the ladder going down the hole* *After looking around for another way out and realising that the only door available was the door he entered which is now locked shut he looks down into the hole* *Figures he must go down the chaism he climbs onto the ladder and slowly decends into the cave* *Looking around the cavern and seeing no door he raises the light his wand is giving towards the roof of the cave* *Smiles as he sees no ladder leading up to it* Well it wouldn't be that easy would it? *Walks towards the hold so that he is underneath it to see if there is a route to climb up towards it* *Finds that although it is not an easy one he will be able to climb it* *Puts his wand between his teeth and begins to climb and goes through the hole into the next room*

~~Severus Snape~~~~The cage comes under Snape's control.~~ ~~The girl falls backwards as his spell hits her cage and she begins to blubber in fear.~~ What are you doing? Who are you? *Continues to ignore the girl, and now that the cage is under his control, he moves his wand about in a distinct pattern, pushing the cage to the other side of the pit, and settles it nicely upon the narrow pathway near the bridge.* *With the girl safely on the other side of the pit, Severus now focuses his attention to the bridge. He needs to test the weight, and isn't stupid enough to test it with himself, and thankfully Severus is a rather powerful wizard. With a bit of fancy wand work he has conjured himself a giant bolder, it looks to weigh a ton, but it's actual weight is about fifteen pounds heavier than Severus himself. He needn't over do it, all that is needed is enough to allow him to know is passage will be safe.* *With little effort Severus has the conjured bolder hovering inches from the bridge, and settles it gently, ever so carefully right in the middle of the bridge. He watches, waiting to see if it will hold.*

~~Jolie Fier~~~~Having successfully made it past the first challenge, the next room provides another test.~~ ~~A box of items sits in one corner, and a bin in the other.~~ ~~The box contains a teapot, a spoon, a teddy bear, a clock, a noose, a cup and a pack of cards.~~ ~~On a table in the middle is some parchment with a riddle on it.~~ It goes on and on but gets nowhere, It is often watched, but never sees, When long brings boredom, When short brings fear, What is it? *Enters the next room, apprehensive of the next challenge, but determined to prove herself to the Dark Lord. She glances from the box to the table to the bin, before approaching the table and reading the riddle. She then glances up at the items in the box, searching for something that fits the description on the parchment.* * "It goes on and on but gets nowhere..." none of these things move freely. "...often watched, but never sees..." "...When long brings boredom, when short brings fear..." She looks from one item to the next. Suddenly, something clicks in her mind. Time. The clock. Time goes on, but the clock remains stationary. We watch the clock, but it has no eyes. When you're bored, it drags on forever, and when we run out of time it can be overwhelming. The clock. Time.* The clock. *She addresses the room, uninhabited as it is with anyone but herself. She looks around for a clue to what should do next, and her eyes fall upon the bin. She gingerly removes the clock from the box and places it in the center of the bin, waiting. She knows that the gesture might not be what the situation calls for, but is otherwise out of ideas.*

~~Lucretia Black~~~~Lucretia is free to move on to the next room.~~ ~~The next room is a large room resembling an arena.~~ ~~Near to her entrance is a lever.~~ ~~An inscription by it on the wall reads:~~ Pull this to release the magical seal.~~At the other end of the arena within a lightly glowing dome is a prowling manticore.~~ ~~Behind the dome is a locked door attached to a large vial.~~ ~~An inscription there reads:~~ To open the door, the vial must be filled with six pints of blood.~~The beast growls menacingly.~~ Only one of us can leave alive. "Great. A manticore. A dragon would be easier to fight!" *tries with a harmless hex if she can get into the cage without pulling the lever first, but as expected it rebounds* "Sure, they don't make it easy for us." *gnaws absentmindedly on her lip while coordinating different spells and curses in her mind* "I wish I could just ask it politely if it'd like to donate 6 pints of its blood. Anyway, everything will be dangerous, so I'll better start." *taps the wand on her head to cast a Disillusionment charm over herself, then holds the wand ready in her right hand, puts her left at the lever and pulls on it* *the glowing vanishes and releases the manticore from the magical dome* "STUPEFY!" *the spell hits the beast between its eyes, but doesn't stun it fully. It approaches only more slowly with frustratingly large steps towards her. Knowing it can still smell her she tries a diversion* "Expecto Patronum!" *the silvery owl flaps vividly in front of its eyes and gives her some time to cast the next spell* *she aims at the tail and casts a Severing charm to disarm the most dangerous part of a manticore. The sting falls off, but the pain lifts the last effects of the stunner and makes the beast rabid* *she zigzags to the other end of the room trying to escape the sharp claws. In vain, one of the talons scratches her shoulder, another pierces her leg, blood is trickling through her invisibility and the beast can take up her scent better than before. No time to heal the wounds, she throws herself on the ground sliding away as far as she can, desperately shouting curses, aiming her wand at the manticore's head as this is the only place they will work* "Avada Kedavra! Immobilis! Glacius! Avada Kedavra! ..." *most spells rebound from the skin of the animal, but finally, just before reaching her, it falls lifeless to the ground* *she doesn't dare to get near to test if it's dead or not, only casts quickly another spell* "Sectumsempra!" *after waiting in secure distance until enough blood has left its body to render it innocuous, she limps over to the vial and syphons the blood into it*

*Sylvan stands back from her observations of the target and the door. Her wand out and with a twitch of her wrist sends a jet of water from the tip of her wand to blast into the target. Holding the spell until she's hit all of it and glances to the door.*
*Her logic is that the whole target is the key so she must strike all of it. Water would be the best venue of striking since it's spash should allow her to hit all of it with one casting.*

~~Zero Quinn~~
~~The exit leads down a passageway into a small room.~~
~~As Zero enters the room, there is a bright flash of light and the passage behind him closes up.~~
~As the light fades, the room is filled with ghosts, milling around, a few regarding the new person in the room.~~
~~One of them steps forward to speak.~~
So? How did they get you?
~~Peter Pettigrew~~
~~Peter cuts open the bodies, but nothing is found in any of them, except for one.~~
~~The girls heart is still beating, despite her being clearly dead.~~
~~Upon coming close to the man in the trilby, a faint wind is escaping the lips.~~
~~Rodolphus LeStrange~~
~~Rodolphus climbs into the next room where all that there is between him and the door is another wizard.~~
~~He is dressed in long red robes, has messy brown hair, and a rough beard.~~
~~The wizard sees him coming out of the hole and walks over to him to lend him a hand climbing out.~~
~~He sits on a nearby rock and speaks.~~
We're trapped in here. I've been here for I don't know how long.
Here, this is the only clue to get out.
~~He hands Rodolphus some parchment.~~
A hole leading in, a hole leading out, we connect to a cave that is slimy throughout.
~~The wizard speaks again.~~
The door is locked... but not with any normal lock. All I can see on it is a weird shaped groove. I can't figure it out...
~~Severus Snape~~
~~The bridge holds, while the girl continues to whimper at the odd things happening around her.~~
~~Jolie Fier~~
~~As Jolie puts the clock into the bin, the writing on the parchment changes.~~
I begin with T, I end in T, I have T in me. What am I?
~~Lucretia Black~~
~~She successfully fills the vial with enough blood from the dead creature and the doors locks click open, allowing her to leave.~~
~~The passage leads up to a small room with nothing inside it.~~
~~A wall shudders, and opens up, allowing Erupttat to enter and meet her.~~
~~Sylvan Thails~~
~~The jet of water has no effect on the target.~~
~~Valley Tayllore~~
~~Her passageway leads to a large cavernous room with a huge chasm in between her and the exit.~~
~~The mechanical sounds she could hear are huge blocks of metal platforms moving from side to side across the chasm.~~
~~They move at different speeds.~~
~~The only way across seems to be to time jumps and steps between platforms just right, although many move quite quickly and leave little room for error.~~

*He enters the small chamber and nods to Lucretia.*
You know, you could have bargained with the creature and both spilled 3 pints of blood, allowing you both to live. Although, that would have been less fun.
Congratulations Miss. You have completed three tasks. You are free to go.
This passage leads outside.
But first, as a reward, you can disadvantage one of the other competitors if you so wish.
Choose a hex to have placed upon them, or choose a spell that they may no longer use within the labyrinth.

He follows the short passageway to another room, squinting into the blinding flash of light.* *Shortly after entering the room the light fades, and his eyes widen a bit to take in the rest of his surroundings, upon which he notices a group of ghosts, a few even looking directly at him. He swallows hard as one approaches him, and speaks.* *With wide eyes he listens, confusion setting in straight away, he has no idea what the ghost meant by, "Getting him".* Wh- Whatever do you m-mean? No one got me...I c-came of my own will. Well I volunteered to do this anyhow. Where are we? Why are you here? *Looks around the small room, eyes passing over the ghosts as he surveys the place. A chill fills his chest as he realizes that the ghosts must also think he is one as well, is he dead?*

*Smirks upon seeing the bridge hold the weight of his magical boulder, and quickly he waves his wand, vanishing it away at once.*
Evanesco!
*With calculating steps, Severus walks quickly across the bridge over the pit, not once looking into the dark precipice, he's exit is too close for him to think about the bridge collapsing.*
*Stepping off the bridge his bright black eyes fall onto the girl, and the cage holding her. Naturally he has to remove the girl from her prison, he's certain he's to save her.*
*He mutters incantations as he runs his fingers over the cold steel bars, and comes to the conclusion the cage isn't made of any magical materials, it is truly a cage.*
Mhmm...
*Can finally be heard as he takes a step back from the cage, and stoops looking inside to the girl. He meets her eyes with the cold black orbs of his own, pokes the tip of his wand through the bars of the cage, and whispers while aiming at the girl.*
Protego!
*With the protection charm in place, he stands once again, and taps the tip of his wand upon the steel.*
Diffindo!

*takes a few steps back when she realizes huge blocks of metal platforms are going back and forth across the whole room, all at different speeds*
*seeing clearly what she had to do and how terribly difficult it was going to be, she took a huge look over the whole to room to make sure there wasn't anything else she had to watch out for*

*runs, fast, and shouts at the second huge metal block...*
IMPEDIMENTA! *curses and runs, repeating the spell, trying not to die*
