"Because Minister, when it comes to me, trying to track someone down, I don't care what time it is, and I think it's because my mummy can't tell me when I'm tierd anymore... And secondly because he ran in fear when faced me, for no reason at all, when I spotted him and not wanted his autograph. So he fled, and I figured I should look in Muggle villages, as he is less known there and would not be recognized if he should book a room at an inn under false name. Logic, as I see it."

*He scratched the back of his neck and placed a hand on his hip.*
Right... so you're telling me that you met Lockhart in Hogsmeade, he ran away and you decided to search each and every one of the many hundred Muggle villages in Britain for him, starting with one on the other side of the country? Then by a complete coincidence that village happened to be attacked by Death Eaters and you were able to find a disguise and join them unnoticed? Could you explain the logic to me again?

Rydiger opens his mounth, but stopped and grabbed his wand and waves it, and the door slams shut, and then engage gets locked.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The logic? The logic is that my source tells me that when he lost his memory, he forgot that magic existed, which states he most likely is Muggle-born. And I belived he mentioned he once lived there as a kid in the book Wanderings with Werewolves. If you are in hiding, you are always looking for places that are familiar to you, hoping that your enemy won't think of looking there, because you feel safer, because a familiar place make you feel you have more control."

*Scrimgeour decided that it would be best to drop the Lockhart business, due to it's unimportance. So he decided to move on.*
And you just so happened to have a Death Eater disguise with you?
I must say, I am impressed that you would be so well equipped at all times.

*He shuffled on his feet, not sure what to make of the conversation in front of him. He had been at the battle and was not aware that any spies were involved.*

"No, I didn't happen to have it with me, I created it on the spot. I was actually rather suprised they didn't look right trough it. Perhaps they thought I was a random ally who wanted to be a Wannebe?"

*It did not seem as though he was going to learn anything of much use from this visit, and his time was running short.*
*He began to turn away towards the door.*
Heal up Mr Heap. I'm sure I will see you back at the Ministry soon enough...

"Thank you, Minister." he smiles. "But what about the job? If you made a small Department in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, I could use three or four persons to investegate certain criminal movement. Of course, all Aurors has a certain amount of skill in investegation, but I am twice the age of most Auror, if not more. I'm a Law Enforcer with more experience than most. At least inside certain fields. If we had a Department of Magical Investegation, it could be to great help for both the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol as well as the Aurors headquarters."

*He looked over his shoulder back at the old wounded man.*
I already have a fully functioning intelligence department, headed by Baron Papanoida. I do not need another.

*He let out a long breath and turned back into the room.*
Don't you have a department of your own in Germany to be worried about?

"No, I have quited. I move offically to England. The entire Confuderation want me to stay until this wizard people is even more powerful and evil than the fearsome Gellert Grindelwald himself is dealt with."

*He put his hand across his mouth and pulled it down in thought.*
I see.
Well, in that case... once you are healed, report to Robards. He will introduce you to Papanoida when he is satisfied.
Now. I must be going.

*Growing impatient he huffed.*
Satisfied that you are capable of working in our most secret department competently.
That remains to be seen.
*He nodded towards Peasegood.*
Come Arnold.
