Rydiger sighed while he stared at the old pocket watch he got for so many years ago by Grindelwald as a birthday present. Now that he thought about it, he felt very old. Dating back to 1943, while Grindelwald had just begun the infiltration of the German Ministry of Magic. And it was indeed surprising how his former master had managed to secure control over the entire Ministry in such a short time, considering that the German Ministry is perhaps even more concerned with security and Law Enfrocement than the British one. He looked around and spotted the Skele-Gro cup. He lifted it closer to his pale face, and looked on it with disgust. Very well, then. If he had to wait another day or two for these Healers to manage to simply walk to their storage to get one bottle of Skele-Gro, so be it... Or did he? He squinted into the cup. It was a little Skele-Gro left! He smiled to himself. Just a little bit of a liquid, even just the tiniest drop, would be enough for a Reffiling Charm. He grabbed his wand and pointed directly at the cup with it, and said loud and clearly: "Refillio!"
Seconds after, the cup was full of liquid elixir once more. He smiled and lifted it in a toast to someone who wasn't there, and drinked it all up.
The pain was there in a second, musch, much worse than anything he had ever felt in his life, more than last night, and much worse and the Cruciatus Curse from Bellatrix LaStrange. He screamed in pain, and it was like all the bones in his entire body was on fire. He squirmed in discomfort and rolled out of bed and slammed to the floor with a loud smack. The squirming got more widely the screams got just worse, and now he could feel his leg grow, feel the bones in your right leg evolve into what it once had been. What the hell is going on? It was not intended that the potion would make the pain so bad. He had read about the potion many times before, and it was supposed to work slowly and carefully. And then he remembered something. The spell he had just used the transfiguration spell, and the law of conjuring says that conjured things are never exactly like it's properly made counterparts. His eyes widened. But then it was over, the pain had stopped. Rydiger opened his eyes carefully.
"What the -?"
He looked down at his leg. It was intact once more. It had grown out with extraordinary speed and pain. But now it was there. He tried and rise, but fell down again. The pain had not disappeared anyway, after he had tried to get up was the back, but much milder, now only in the right leg from the knee and on down to the foot. He grabbed the edge of the bed and used it as a support to get on his feet. It still hurt. He tried and move the leg, and yes, having clear and hauled back and forth a few times, he found that the bone was viable. He smiled. The pain was probably just a side effect of the potion.
He changed back to his ordinary black robes, wich had been folded by the foot of the bed, before he lifted his wand and got back his cane, and plassed the wand into it's rightful home. But he hadn't gone far before he realized that the cane itself needed some modifications, so he used his wand to make a proper handle on it before he placed the wand in a pocket before liping out of the room.
