*Snape and Von Heap, already rid of their masks, apparated into St Mungo's reception but did not wait for the Welcome Witch to address him. He knew which way to go and what level Von Heap needed, so he did not need the delay*
*He got to the fourth floor and found a treatment room, and brought Von Heap down onto a bed, looking at him.*
I shall send along Smethwyck - you will find him a most estimable mediwizard. You are likely to be here at least two nights - that is approximately how long it will take to re-grow the bones in your leg. It will be immensely... painful... they will give you Numbing Solution, do take it. I trust you will patient; it will be unwise of you to leave before your leg is completely restored. I must take my leave, I bid you a fast recovery.
*Without waiting for a response, Snape exited the room to find Smethwyck and to head back to his business - he was rather in a hurry, as always.*

Mr. Heap shouted a "Thank you." which he was sure the man must have heard.
He sighed and looked down at his leg. He sighed for himself. Why the hell had he done that? Okey, the curse could mayby have killed the Death Eater, but why should he care? Bellatrix Lastrange had used the cruciatus curse on him, for Merlin's sake! It had to have been instincts. He rolled his eyes of his own stupideness and decided to wait patiently at the Mediwizard. Painful? Yes, he did indeed know that. No physical pain could ever possibly outdo the mental one. The thoughts slipped into a memory of a golden goblet, and a big puff of smoke which rose from the bottom of it. He remembers the triumph in the eyes of the Alchemist when Rydiger von Heap drank the Elixir. How this was something he would always regret. Always ... He sighed again and hit himself in the face with a pale hand and looked away from the shadows of a past that still haunted him. Where was the damn healer?

**Arrives in the room with a bottle of Skele-Gro under his arm and large glass of clear liquid, as Severus Snape had already warned him of the patient's ailments.**
**Stands by the old man and undoes his bandages, then places pre-warmed lime green sheets over him to keep him warm, then placed a small cup of Skele-gro and the glass of liquid on the bedside table**
Quite some injury there. I want you to drink the small cup first, then the large glass after. It is a solution that will ease the pain and help you sleep while the Skele-Gro works. My colleague or I will check on you in the morning - your leg should be halfway healed by then. Sleep tight.
**nods politely and bustles back out**

My colleague or I will check on you in the morning - your leg should be halfway healed by then. Sleep tight. **nods politely and bustles back out** Rydiger looks after the Healer. How rude. He did not even wait to give Rydiger a opportunity to present himself properly. And he did not present himself either. Who was this man? Was it that Smethwyck fellow Severus Snape had told about or just some stupid inbecile who thought he was somebody else? He looked down at the two cups of potions. Well, if it indeed was wrong, it would be a interesting experience to see what happened. He did as he was told. The first one, the small one, was the solution to ease the pain. That was not to bad. But then, the Skele-Gro tasted horrible. Really horrible. He had to force it down, but managed to drink it all in the end. He lied down for a little while, then he felt it. A pain so intense that he wanted nothing but to scream as loud as he could. But he did not. Screams was for weaklings. Weaklings who was so afraid of pain that the simple feeling of it was enough to crush them. He closed his eyes and whispered a few curses for himself before he felt that the first potion had started to give effect. A great deal of the pain was slowly dissepearing, and he started to feel tierd. He did not open his eyes, but let the solution overpower him. He knew perfectly well it was for his own good. He had to make a plan. How would he explain that he as an Law Enforcer had been present in a battle where no one other than the Death Eater knew he was involved in? He had to sleep on it. Sleep... What a idea... He was indeed tierd. He let all his thoughts slip away and passed down to a state where his dreams would seem to be a temporary reality. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning. Rydiger opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He looked around in the great room. He was still alone. He took a strong grip on the white duvet and pushed it aside. His right leg, which only the night before had been almost completely gone was returned. Well, at least roughly. His leg had grown to a point near the knee. He sighed, annoyed. He had never read The Daily Prophet before. So he grabbet it and started on first page while waiting for some one to check on him.

Juliette, who hadn't been to work in a few days walked into the front doors early that morning. Not a few minutes later she was handed a case file and told to go check up on the man. Still nervous about being at work she made sure her wand was in reaching distance and pushed into the room.
"Morning Monsieur....." she checks the chart again. "Von Heap. German no? 'Ow are we feeling today?"
She looked up from the chart and smiled.

Rydiger looks up from behind the paper. "Indeed I am, miss." he said politely. "It stings, and the dose could have been bigger so more of my leg would have been healed.
The German Law Enforcer looks at the new visitor. "Could you do me a favour? I need you to send an owl to the Ministery and tell them that I'm here. Tell him that I need to meet him as soon as possible."
He looks rather serious when he adds: "I belive you wanted me to wait to tonight before giving me the next glass of Skele-Gro, but I need it now. I need to get to the Ministery as soon as possible."

Juliette moved a bit closer.
"I am indeed sorry for the small dose sir. If I 'ad been on last night I would 'ave done more to help."
She looks a bit stunned when he asks her to send a message to the ministry. She smiles though, and nods.
"Of course Monsieur. Would you prefer to write ze letter yourself? I could bring you up some parchment and ink if you'd like."
Juliette flashed another sweet smile, placing a calming hand on the man's shoulder.
"Well sir...I guess we can get you another glass. But please...stay calm..and relax a bit. I will get you off to the ministry soon as I can."

"The letter is already ready." he said clamly. He grabbed his wand and vawed it against the paper, which transfigurated into parchment, a little flick of his wrist, and suddenly the paper is full of words.
Dear Mr. Scrimgeour;
I saw the Weasly's escape from the Burrow. If you do not hear from them, it is because they are in hiding.
Rydiger von Heap.

Juliette nods again, taking the letter from him and bowing slightly.
"I will take care of this right away monsieur. And grab that skellgrow while I'm at it. Please...excuse me."
She smiles again and turns around heading out the door for a moment.

He shouts after her: "Send it to the main Law Enforcement office!"
He looked after her while waiting for her return.

*After receiving a few notes from Von Heap, he decided it might be time to pay a short visit. He flooed into the Hospital with Peasegood as an escort in case of trouble and after asking the Welcome witch for directions, he made his way to the ward.*
*He entered the room, and saw the old man laid up in bed.*
You've seen better days I take it?
*There was precious little time to spare, so he decided to get straight to the point.*
So, you have some information for me?

Rydiger looked up. "Yes and yes." he pulled away one of the blankets and showd him the leg, which was just half outgrown.
"I'm not sure, but I belive it was a man called Ashwood I can thank for that, Minister." Rydiger replied. "I spotted the Dark Mark, and wasn't certain who had arraived yet, so I discused myself as one of them to disappear in the crowd. I have not yet recived a place in the circle, but as no Death Eater knew that I was there, they thought for sure that I was just another one of those little friends with masks. Unfortunately, your people thought that I was one of them, and I was hit. Now I only wait for these Healers to give me another cup of Kele-Gro, and I'm ready to leave, as soon as my leg has grown out completely."
Rydiger looked at him for a while. "Minister, I'm terribly sorry, sir. But I have made a miscalculation. Not everyone in the Weasley family got away. I think it was a girl who stayed, for now that I think about it, I can not remember that Mr. Weasley took his daughter when they escaped. I don't know what happend to her."
He looked down. "Potter's death... It was what that Dark Lord of yours always wanted. I'm sorry. I may not be much to a fighter, but I'll do what I can to track down those bastards."

*He grimaced a little at the sight of the leg.*
I'm sure Ashwood will be very sorry to hear he hit one of our own.
*He listened to the man speak, but one point confused him and stuck in his mind.*
You spotted the Dark Mark? Why were you in Ottery St Catchpole? There's not much there besides farmland.

"As I said, Minister, I spotted the Dark Mark. It was actually more or less randomly. I was just a few miles away, looking for Gilderoy Lockhart when a witch I passed screamed and pointed at the sky where I could see something that looked like huge green sparks glowing in the sky from far away. I asked what it was, and she screamed that it was the Dark Mark, the symbol of your Dark Lord and his Death Eaters. And I am an Law Enforcer after all, so I checked it out. When I arrived, it was a big group of Death Eaters there, so I disguised me to look like them so I could sneak into the crowd and attack them from behind as soon as I saw signs of reinforcements... As you can see, it didn't go very well."

*The story still sounded confusing. He was not sure where to start. The beginning seemed best.*
Right... what made you think Lockhart was in Devon of all places? And why were you looking for him in the late evening?
