Potter Dead, the Ministry on its knees, the Death Eaters and Voldemort victorious? The world had known those facts to be true in the past 2 days. The Order had been soundly beaten at the Weasley's Burrow several days ago, ending with the Potter boy dead and the aurors trotting back to London with their tails between their legs. Voldemort had declared that all Order members were to be hunted down, and that was what Dolohov aimed to do. First, he would need to meet with the Malfoys and gather information to hunt the remainder of Dumbledore's forces down.
Arriving at the Mansion, Dolohov recognized all of its natural features. He had been to the mansion dozens of times over the years, it served as one of the headquarters of the Darklord. After the attack, the Death Eaters went into the wizarding world to begin reconnoiter for the next attack, no party was to be held for the Death of Potter. Not that Dolohov minded, he was never the partying sort of man. Cloaked in a dark green jacket, his face still slightly grizzled from several years in Azkaban, Dolohov knocked at the large entrance of the Malfoy Mansion.

*It had been a rough night, the events of the evening of the battle playing in his mind. A knock at the door and he forgot for a moment that he had house elves hired for the purpose of answering it for him..*
*He pulled the door open to reveal his old friend Dolohov stood there.*
Ah, Antonin, greetings. What brings you to my home?

There were few wizards that Dolohov came to respect, Lucius Malfoy was one of those. Younger than Antonin, Lucius was one of the Darklord's most trusted servants, only Bellatrix could maintain a more 'personal' relationship with the Darklord. "How could I miss an opportunity to visit an old friend while enjoying champagne and those little fish eggs," he said with a wry smile and a slight chuckle.
"Needed to know if the Darklord has any assignments, my sources have... either been captured by the Ministry or been killed." Most Death Eaters, during the First War, were able to maintain a good amount of intelligence on their own. Almost 20 years behind the walls of Azkaban had turned Dolohov's resources into a barren wasteland filled with unmarked graves, sucked souls, and prison sentences.

*He nodded gravely. He had seen too many of his friends pass before their time for the purposes of the Dark Lord. But it was his duty to soldier on.*
Come in. Make yourself comfortable old friend.
*He led the way into the lounge and clicked calling a house elf to make drinks.*
What will you have?

Dolohov walked in slowly, following Malfoy as he was led into the lounge. Even with a war going on, Lucius managed to keep the Manor running and looking exquisite. "A firewhiskey would not be turned down," he said genially, a rarity for Dolohov.
"How is the family? Draco performed well in the battle from what I have been told." There was a general interest in Dolohov's voice, the Malfoys were friends of his and had helped him in the past get away from Azkaban.

*He looked down at the elf who had scurried over to serve.*
Two firewhiskeys.
*As the creature scampered away he took a seat in his usual chair and gestured that Dolohov take a seat of his own.*
Thank you. The young man shows promise and I am most proud that he was there to share in our victory.
My wife too is pleased that we have now almost brought an end to the war.
*Pleased may have not been quite the right word, she was more concerned for their safety and relieved that it might be over soon. But that did not seem the proper thing to say in company.*
*The elf returned with the drinks and handed the first to the guest, before bringing the second glass to it's master.*

"An end to the war, how that would be... glorious," Dolohov added a slightly sarcastic tone to the last word. In all his life, Dolohov was only good at one thing, fighting and serving the Darklord. The mere thought of peace made Dolohov uneasy, if there was peace what would happen to an old fashioned Death Eater like him?
Dolohov took the offered seat, a large comfy armchair wrapped in an ancient looking leather. "Pardon me Lucius, the thought of the Darklord declaring peace strikes me as frightening. You have your wealth and intelligence with the Ministry, I could never work at the Ministry... damn thing is all too boring."
Taking the offered drink, Dolohov did not acknowledge the house elf. The little creatures were servants, to be seen, not heard, and always ordered around. "A Death Eater like me needs to keep busy, which brings me to why I came here. Do you have any leads on the remains of Potter's brave band?"

I am certain that once the war is over, there will still be plenty for you to do Antonin. Mudbloods and traitors to be rounded up and dealt with.
*He sipped his drink, not really sure that he felt like it and pondered the question about Potter.*
Obviously we know that they are in hiding. Any leads though may need to be found through the Ministry.

"Ah yes, that deserves to be handled after the War," Dolohov commented as the cup hit his lips and he took a sip.
"I was afraid you were going to point me in that direction," Dolohov sighed. The Ministry and Dolohov had never been on intimate terms, ever. He spent a delightful 14 years in their luxury resort called Azkaban for plying his trade and serving the Darklord. Now, he would have to find a way into their ranks and get the information to continue such service to the Darklord. "I will bet after their defeat at the Weasley's hovel they will be on high alert... just the mere thought of stepping near that damn fountain makes my skin crawl."

*He gave a single slow nod in response.*
Not to worry Antonin. There are those of us who still have a place inside their walls.
I may yet be able to gather the information we need to begin our search. Though as you say, they will likely be on high alert and no doubt the Auror leaders will not speak openly.
*He took another sip thoughtfully.*
Perhaps Antonin, our skills would be put to greater use combined. If you would permit me to offer you an idea.

"Aye, the aurors do not let their lips give away things," Antonin said bitterly, the burning liquid of the firewhiskey sending a shock through his throat.
"That would be appropriate. You have plenty invested in the Ministry, they would not dare turn you away or keep information from you. Of course, I am still a wanted man, I could not respectfully enter without risking Azkaban or your reputation." Lucius was always better at the subtle art of subterfuge than Dolohov or even Bellatrix. Dolohov was the pure muscle of the Death Eaters, like Bellatrix and Greyback, he would have to rely on Luicus to provide the plans.

*He understood completely. Dolohov had never been one for politics. But his particular talents were of as much use as his own in some circumstances.*
As you know, we have some amount of Aurors already imprisoned in Azkaban. Though due to their lengthened captivity, their knowledge of the goings on in the world are limited. We need fresh hostages.
How would you feel if I were to lead one or more to be ambushed and captured by you and any allies you select?

Dolohov listened intently to Lucius' plan, it was simple but effective. Lucius would help him and a few allies lure aurors into the open and capture them. Then, at their leisure, they would drill the aurors under duress for information on the remaining members of Potter's brave band. It was a plan that was ridiculously evil, especially when Dolohov realized that the captured aurors would not be freed... the Darklord would never allow such a thing.
"Hmm, kidnapping, torture, and killing... Lucius, your silver tongue has the villain in me positively flipping in anticipation." Dolohov sounded gleeful, the plan would provide him with much need social interaction and an outlet on his rather... insatiable appetite for destruction.

*He gave a friendly yet wicked smile. It had been quite some time since he had last performed a task like this, having so long been keeping his public reputation his main priority. If he played this right, he would not even do it any damage.*
So, my friend. I shall select the target and bring them to you. All that remains is that we decide where I am to lead them and who you should like by your side.

"There are plenty of secret places in Knockturn you could lure them to. I can get my group to hide in one of the shops and when the auror walks through we grab them quickly. You won't be blamed and we get the intelligence we need."
Finishing his glass, Dolohov sat it down on a small table that stood next to the armchair he was sitting in. "I have a few friends I will contact, when you have chosen the location and the target I will take care of the rest." The Order had used teamwork against the Death Eaters in the past that led all too often to success on their part; now it was time for the Darklord's followers to use the same concept against Potter's brave band.
"We can only do this once Lucius, too many times and the remaining aurors will catch on.
