*Both arguments were sound, it was a difficult choice. Afer a few more moments pondering, an idea sprung to mind.*
My friends. A compromise maybe? I could lead my quarry to Hogsmeade, where they shall feel safe. On arrival we could have ready a portkey. All it will take is for the Auror to touch it, and be whisked away to a place of your choosing. If one of your men could be there to assault us, then that should be suitable for me to save face.

*One of the many House Elves opens the doors from one of the side corridors and a woman steps through the open door, a calm expression ruling her features and a smooth grace to her stride. The full dress and cloak she wore complimented her pale features almost ethereally.*
*The smile touching her lips was genuine as she saw the three men conversing and she interrupted with the soft, lilting accent*
It is a wonder you have not drawn wands on each other yet.
*Teasing them, as it was well known that the three tended to bicker quite a bit. Lucius, because he was always saving face and making sure he came out looking regal, Rookwood, because no one ever seemed to actually hear the whole of what he was saying without cutting it up and making it sound like their idea. Dolohov, however, she'd not yet met and looked to the wizard a moment.*
My dear Lucius, it has been entirely too long. I had nearly forgotten the grandeur of your Manor in my rather tedious absence of late. What a refreshing return.
*Smiling as she greeted him warmly enough. The compliment of his home coming easily to her lips and knowing it pleased him to hear it. She offered a bow and a smile to both Rookwood and Dolohov. She was not on terms with either of them, since she'd only met Rookwood a few times and that was nearly in passing on all occasions.*
I trust I am interrupting something interesting? Ah, Lucius, I have brought something of a gift for you. A rather stylish frock coat that I delivered to your House Elves. A matching cloak as well for your charming wife.
*Sylvan certainly knew how to move in social circles such as Lucius'. Expensive gifts were commonplace and expected. The best way to remain in fond passing with any man or woman of esteem. Besides, she knew something of Lucius' rather picky tastes and knew Narcissa would love the cloak. Indeed, she'd bought one for herself as well she was so fond of it.*

*This meeting seemed to be one surprise after another. Though he had really not expected this. He rose from his seat.*
Sylvan Thails. My it has been a long time indeed. I thank you for the gifts,
*he said with a bow.*
please take a seat.
*He gestured towards an empty armchair and snapped his fingers summoning an elf with a drinks tray.*
Gentlemen, this is Sylvan Thails, a friend of mine and fellow Death Eater. Sylvan, I do not know if you have met Misters Augustus Rookwood and Antonin Dolohov.
*He returned to his chair and had a sip of his drink.*
We were discussing capturing a hostage. I believe Miss Thails would be a fine addition to whomever you choose for your team Antonin.

*Sylvan returned the bow elegantly before her hands moved to her skirts as she moved forward as she was offered the chair and stood beside it. Looking down to the House Elf holding up the offered drinks and choosing a glass of wine for herself.*
I have had the pleasure of meeting Mister Rookwood previously.
*Smiling to Augustus warmly and bowing her head in greeting to the man.*
Though, I have not formally met Mister Dolohov. A pleasure, indeed, your reputation is one of note. I had the pleasure of seeing you in some action some time ago during the 'attack' on Lucius Malfoy's Manor.
*She smiled fondly at that, it had been her own idea to validate Lucius as an ally of the Ministry and peel away some of the suspicion that Lucius was there enemy. It had worked like a dream, as well.*
Taking hostages, are we? How exciting. With Harry Potter dead...I assume this is a ploy to lure out some of his comrades?
*She rose an eyebrow at them, apparently considerably more than a 'pretty face' and holding quite the mind behind those cobalt blue eyes of hers.*

*Dolohov watched the woman enter, his eyes locking on to her*
The pleasure is all mine Ms. Tahlis.
*Turning to Lucius, Dolohov nodded his head in agreement*
I agree with the compromise, allows me to achieve the desired information and you keep your position healthy within the Ministry. Perhaps I could entice Ms. Thalis to assist me in this little matter of skulduggery...

*Sylvan smiled and offered a bow to Dolohov. Taking her seat and sipping from the offered wine and listening. One would be surprised what they could learn from doing just that.*
Mmm...I am known to be something of a fan of skulduggery, I will admit. Though, I do have my own errands to run. Nothing of consequence, I think the Dark Lord was simply amused enough to give me 'busy work' since I offered.
I'm to fetch Crabbe and Goyle from the Ministry.
*Her lips curved into a wicked smile, Voldemort was less than pleased with them.*
Though, were I those two I would not be so keen on a rescue. I think the Ministry will be preferable to having to face him when he is not pleased.

I am sure this little endeavour will not distract too greatly from whatever other plans you have.
*Lucius would like to know that any Death Eater activity he was personally involved in was being seen to by people he could trust. He knew Dolohov was one such person, but he may not be able to vouch for any associates he chose to work with. If he could help in the decision making he would feel more comfortable.*

[[*pokes for Augustus but posts anyway*]]
We shall see, Lucius. I would like to see Crabbe and Goyle seen to first. The Dark Lord may be giving me a simple task since I asked for one, but failure is still failure.
*She leans back in her chair and takes a sip from her wine as she looks over to Antonin for a moment and seems to be considering something. Looking away politely, but it's almost obvious that there are wheels spinning in her head.*
Though, I would not agree to something I had no information on, either. Would be foolish indeed.
*Winking to Lucius before smiling softly.*

*Antonin considered his available options for comrades in his mission. Few Death Eaters would rebuff him if the mission involved eliminating enemies at the Ministry*
"Well dash. At least you will be doing something worthy of your time, of course anything the Darklord commands is worthy. So Lucius, do either you or Augustus have an opinion on who I could recruit? There are many new Death Eaters, saw some of the young ruffians at the Weasley place but I haven't learned their names and offered to babysit them yet."

*He took his mind back to the battle to ponder who might be of use to Dolohov.*
Yes, there are quite some amount that could help you. Rowle is a reliable fellow for one. If you are looking for younger blood then possibly Bletchley could be of use.
