*He tried to speak softly as this would be a sensitive subject for anyone.*
What I mean to suggest is that due to being refused by Fudge, and having him killed by an Auror, may actually be reason for you to join the Death Eaters.

"Mr. von Heaps, I would remind you that you have not answered my question... maybe I should clarify. What parts of the battle do you specifically remember? Or was it all a simple blur?"
*Pius looked at the Minister for a moment, he understood what the Minister was attempting to do.*
"Your son, whom you were so close to was killed by an auror and Former Minister Fudge refused to let you see him. It would seem to show that you have a motive to spy against the Ministry more than the Death Eaters."

"The Ministery killed my son because he devoted his life to the Dark Arts. While it was hurtful, I didn't know my son anymore, and I knew it was becasue it was necessary. For the greater good for your wizarding community."
Heap turned to Thicknesse. "Again I've already told you the answer to that question."

*Pius had more questions to ask, so he would allow him to continue his line of investigation.*
Mr Heap, please answer the question put to you. We would like it in more clarity, else it would not have been asked again.

"Well... I don't remember much of it, other than arriving. It's all just clouds of dark shadows and voices, I can't even remember what they said. But I remember what happened afterwards. You-Know-Who wasn't there, as I said, which suprised me, as he was the one who wanted to kill Harry Potter. Perhaps he waited for his little friends to confirm Potter was there, I don't know. I saw a Death Eater cast a spell that I belive was named "Morsh-mordere" or something like that, wich he or she, I really couldn't tell, it was to dark, conjured a magical image on the sky of a skull with a snake protruding from its mouth. The Dark Mark. I also figured that someone had to see the mark and warn the Ministry.
For some reason, I started to walk away from the house, but I had no idea of why, or why I raised my wand and conjured some kind of fire that surrounded us all. Again, I didn't know why, but for some reason it just felt as the right thing to do. I don't even remember what kind of spell or what kind of incantation it was.
And as I told you, When the Ministry arrived, I recognized some of them. Robards here, just to mention one. And again, I felt this rush through my body, and a feeling that I had to do something with no explanation of why. But this time it was stronger, way stronger. I do not know why I thought of these terrible things, but felt that my legs were pushed forward against my will. It was tiring, but I managed to master these new feelings and thoughts, and eventually forced myself to stand steady until I could think more clearly. What would I gain by fighting against the Ministry of Magic? Sure, the would fit great with my role as a spy, but why did I have this urge to do harm? It was unlike anything I have ever experienced before. My brain said I had to kill, but my ability to think with it told me otherwise.
And there was then I heard someone shout the incantation of the Confondus Charm."

*Looks horribly confused*
Mister Von Heap ... when did I ever prevent you from seeing your son? Yours was a German case, and as such, I had utterly no influence over it. And if your son was in custody of our jurisdiction on charges of being a Death Eater, something I cannot recall at this moment if it did happen, it is common practice to refuse access to any visitors other than legal counsel.

*Leans in to the Minister and whispers*
We are going round in circles with him Rufus. Everytime he speaks his story changes.

"Thank you Mr. von Heaps, you testimony on my question was more than... illuminating. Now, there is not doubt that you were a participant in the battle. The motive for you to take action against the Ministry is stronger than it is against the Death Eaters. You were spotted meeting with a known Death Eater by a Ministry witness, but no witnesses could say that you were cursed. The additional evidence of this curse being put on you rests at the battle. Mr. Lupin has fingered you as being a participant in the battle."
"You have said before that you remember nothing between meeting with Rowle and ending up in Diagon Alley, now you can recall important details about the battle. Your new story conforms to the known effects of the Imperius Curse, but these effects were not made known to us until just now after you told us that you did not remember anything except blacking out."
*Pius turned towards the Minister*
"I think we should leave this line of questioning now. Mr. von Heaps is changing his story based upon our questions. I believe we could now discuss the attempted assassination of the Minister of Magic."

:: Listening to this man was becoming ridiculous. Heaps wasn't helping himself at all. Dawlish just shook his head. His ever-changing story was just wasting his time, Heap's time, and the court's time. Dawlish hoped that a decision was going to be made soon.::

*He listened to each of the court members as they spoke to him.*
I agree Elphias.
Mr Thicknesse, what direction should the trial take now? Should we bring in the witness for the assassination case?

*Dempster sat in his seat, quiet like and scribbled notes onto his pad of parchment. He had listened intently to all that had been going on so far and wasn't liking a bit of it. Tapping his quill against the counter waiting for the next witness.*

*He entered the room feeling quite nervous, twiddling with his fingers and a corner of his robe. He gave nervous smiles to the members of the court that he passed, not knowing who any of them really were and having less idea of what use he would be here.*
*He saw Heap strapped to a chair in the middle of the room, and was somewhat thankful that he was tied down.*
Hey there Minister. What can I do you for?

*Looks horribly confused* Mister Von Heap ... when did I ever prevent you from seeing your son? Yours was a German case, and as such, I had utterly no influence over it. And if your son was in custody of our jurisdiction on charges of being a Death Eater, something I cannot recall at this moment if it did happen, it is common practice to refuse access to any visitors other than legal counsel. *Frowns* "You don't recall?" Heap said suprised, and looked at Fudge. "Not when or after he become a Death Eater, Mr. Fudge, but while he still was a kid. I tried to visit him, but every time I came to England, I was met by the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol. I sent a complane to you with an owl, anf in a letter I recived from a Ministry Offical named -" Heap stoped to think for a moment. "from a man named Ogden, I belive it was. He said you didn't want to expose Phillip of me, due to the rumour of child abuse my ex-wife made." "Thank you Mr. von Heaps, you testimony on my question was more than... illuminating. Now, there is not doubt that you were a participant in the battle. The motive for you to take action against the Ministry is stronger than it is against the Death Eaters. Mr. von Heaps is changing his story based upon our questions. I believe we could now discuss the attempted assassination of the Minister of Magic." "It seems you are a bit confused. I told you that I don't remember more of the first meeting with Rowle than meeting him, before it went dark. Which is a fact, but now I just repeated the details of what I remembered from the battle, much later. I have told you already what I could remember, and I was asked to repeat, and so I did."
