Reason for wanting character: I feel a bit limited with Tav sometimes since hes not canon and I can't play around as much as I'd want to/contribute as much to plots, it'd also be fun to be a good guy for a bit!

Occupation of character: Tattooist, in muggle and magical worlds, using charmed ink creates tattoos with limited movement/properties
Age of character: 29
Which 'side' is character on?: Ministry's
Very Brief background of character: Unknown father, is very loyal to his muggle mother and does all he can discreetly with magic to help her since shes getting on a bit and doesnt really have much of a job. Lives alone, is very bitter and has sworn off women after his fiance left him upon finding out he was a wizard (this of course had nothing to do with him holding back the secret for a good few years because he wasnt sure how she'd react). Is quite disinterested in the events of the wizarding world and prefers a lot of muggle things he is used to and loves, was extremely loyal and helpful but after the incident with his ex he became even more uninterested and reluctant to become involved with anything serious or stick his neck out for anyone else.
Is a good artist and excells at charms.
What sections do you want to RP in: London, the Ministry

** I had the idea of creating this character with the fact that he won't appear to good or on the Ministry's side on the surface so he'd be able to fit into other nastier areas unnoticed and somehow end up in something where he reluctantly has to take action and inform the ministry/become involved in gathering information for them or something because of his handy position.


NB: I took the tattooist and charmed ink concept from the idea of the Dark Mark, if its pushing things too much though I'll think of something else but it seemed an interesting and fun concept to me!


If this idea is uncool or not suitable for the mansion now no worries! I'm sure I can think up something else.

Reason for wanting non-canon: I'm new to this style of rpg and I'd like to get the hang of things first before (hopefully) moving to a canon.

Very Brief background of character: Her father is a wizard, her mother's a witch. Growing up she got into tons of trouble, but for reasons like animating candies at the dinner table opposed to drawing on the walls. Her mother strongly disagreed to her practing magic, so her father taught her simple spells and such when she was running errands. The year she got her letter from Hogwarts was the same year her mother was killed in a car crash in late January. She is a bit on the loud side, never seems to know how to shut her mouth, and learns quickly that someone's blood status also decides how they're treated by other students. (Is wary of Slytherins but doesn't really like to show it.)

Reason for wanting non-canon: I love rpging and I think this is site it really well put together and none of the canons interest me.

Which 'side' is character on?: Good, even though her family supports the Dark Lord.
Very Brief background of character:
Haley was best friends with her real mother Gwenth Marsters. Gwenth wasn't the usual pureblood she married Chuck because it was an arranged marraige. Haley takes after Gwenth alot. She was the one that secretly introduced Haley to muggle things and music. Although they both put on high society fascades for everyone else. When Haley was 11 a couple months into her 1st year at Hogwarts Gwenth died leaving Haley with her stuck up snobby sister Jenny and her father Chuck who favored Jenny. The summer before Haley's 3rd year at Hogwarts Chuck remarried to a wizard clothing fashion designer Jasmine. Who absolutely dislikes Haley but tolerates Jenny. But she act like the perfect mother infront of Chuck and everyone else. Which annoys Haley to know end. After that Haley started to be more open about her love and interest in muggle things which both Chuck and Jasmine did not approve of and that's when the rebelliousness started at school. Now that the Dark Lord has risen to power again Haley chose to not follow her family in supporting the Dark Lord and is no longer welcome at her family home.

Very Brief background of character:
Nova is a halfblood and had a very abusive and traumatic childhood. For 7 happy years, Hogwarts was her safe place away from her abusing father, but when she left school with all of her qualifications she vowed that she would never be treated that way again. As a legal adult, she left home and a friendly witch from the S.D.W took her in. She's been working with abused witches since.
