Multiple characters - 'Post As...' $2$

The Malfoy Mansion has just added a new feature for those that have multiple RP accounts. You will now be able to post as a different account without having to signoff from your currently logged-in account.
As long as the account you wish to post with has signed on at least once for the day and the logout time limit (defaults to 6 hours on logon screen and can be set to 'forever') has not yet expired, you'll be able to use that account to post with from your currently logged-in account.

Note: If you have any accounts that meet the above criteria then you will see a dropdown list above the textbox reserved for the subject line showing all the accounts you can use to make the post (quick reply not supported yet) . You must decide which account you want to use before typing anything since the dropdown will disable as soon as you type. This is because once a selection is made the page will reload and anything typed will be lost.

Thanks Eton. Remember that this only works with full reply, rather than quick reply, unless I am mistaken?

For me, the drop down box is greyed out and seems to be no option, even though I posted using both my accounts. Is there anything I'm not doing right? I'm using IE.

By the way everyone, you have to post with your accounts when you sign in for the page to remember your login details.

Uh oh! Will it always show that footer saying what account you are posting from? I don't like that! I hope everything will be "as usual" for those of us who don't want to use this feature.

I had the same problem as Draco by the way.

It only seems to work for me when I start a new thread. On all replies it shows as greyed out.

Select which account to use before typing/pasting anything.

The code only needs to detect an account signon in order to consider that account eligible, no posting is necessary

The code works using cookies and since cookies aren't shared between different browsers it wouldn't detect multiple logins when one account is logged-on in one browser and another in a separate browser. The point of the code is to alleviate the need to have ten browsers open if wishing to post from ten accounts.

I had the same problem as Draco by the way.

The part about posting as Eton Bones from Ebon Tones was manually added with a post edit and is not put there by the code itself.

Ah! Thanks for that. But how come it only works on some threads and not on others? Like for instance, this thread right here always has the box greyed out, but in the lounge I can see all the accounts listed.

I didn't type anything, and I can't select user before typing because the page loads with it greyed out!

Incidentally I got an error message when trying to quote your post....

There's a code that is adding/removing content as soon as the page loads. I think it's the colored thread title code which is causing the list to prematurely disable. I'll look into it...
