Is anyone else experiencing the same thing I am? I've just logged in as my main character, then logged out and into another one of my accounts, but the menu will not let me post as another character, it won't drop down when I click on it. When I tried it last night (it's doing it this morning again), it said I wasn't logged in, but the account details said I had about five hours left on my other two accounts. You must select which account to use before you type anything else the dropdown will disable itself. This is because when an account is selected the page refreshes and anything you type will be lost. This feature is by design in order to avoid typing a whole bunch of stuff only to lose it all when selecting account.

Thank you Eton! I am now following your instructions using Opera, so let's see what's in store.

I don't even have the option anymore to post as a different cannon. Stopped working on moday for some reason.

It's never worked for me, but I'm seriously not that bothered. For the moment, it doesn't matter if I have to log on and off to post as different characters.

I guess I got so use to it I got spoiled changing from Ron to Cho to Alecto when I was rping the three of them at the same time. Now I just usually stay on one character until I am done using them since I am to lazy to log on and off, especially when I am in the Burrow and them in the main page with another character...

Yea it's not working for me at the moment. Accidently posted as Neville when it was Elvira. Never deleted a post that quickly in my life.

Sorry about that, don't know how it happened but the code was apparently removed from the site [Draco?]. I put it back in so let me know if any problems still exists. You may need to go through the logon/logoff process again to register your accounts with the script if your cookies were cleared or have expired.

You're welcome Update: This code has been updated once again to address a minor security issue. When logging on you must now checkmark the 'include as alias' option in order to have the login recorded and the account available for posting. An option to clear the aliases that have already been stored has also been added. This option can be found on the login page and also in the account details window. This addresses an issue where several people may share a single computer and having that info stored may lead to account compromise provided the other party knows at least one of the passwords. If you share a computer it is recommended you clear your account aliases when done for the day to avoid the above scenario. Participation in the Post as Alias code is now optional since you must now checkmark the 'include as alias' for the login info to be recorded.

Sweet, what browser are you using Chimaera? NOTE TO ALL: If you wish to clear only a single account instead of all accounts then do this on the login page: - 1. type in the name you want no longer available as an alias.
- 2. click mouse anywhere except where you just typed the name.
- 3. if the name is saved as an alias then the checkbox will automatically checkmark itself.
*If you're sure the name is in the alias list but the checkbox doesn't automatically checkmark itself then go ahead and checkmark it manually.
- 4. Uncheck it and that particular username will be removed from the list of aliases.
*You can see a list of which usernames are saved as aliases from the login page by hovering your mouse over the 'clear saved aliases[# of aliases]' link in some browsers. If no link is there that means you have no saved aliases.

I use Opera. First I thought it didn't work, because I couldn't see the "save as alias"-box, but when I waited long enough for all the page-info to be loaded, then it magically appeared. Once again, I've been reminded that patience is key.
