Relieved that horrible splashing had finally stopped the Ravenclaw looked around. Apparently nobody had been badly injured. Thank God. Walking back to her seat she checked her things. Quill and parchment were completely ruined. Not that it really mattered, Tina had plenty of it back up in their dormitory. After all the book was okay, as well as her bag she tended to place beneath her desk during class.
"Goodbye, Professor." Nodding politely at the teacher, she left, silently wishing Genevieve and Michael that they would be done quickly. Detention was always something dreadful, especially since it never was about copying school rules. Teachers from Muggle schools would be terrified if they knew.
With her bag over her shoulder the girl strode along the corridor inside Hogwarts's dungeons, running up the staircase with a disgusted face. Stench, stench, stench. Those different sorts of smells within Potions class were often enough too hard to ignore so the best you could do was having a few breaths of fresh, clean air outside. That was exactly what Tina would be going to do now.

Gen looked from the bucket to the mini goblet, then over to Michael and finally back to Miss Black. Given Billows' itchy situation she didn't think she'd be getting much help from him so the idea of having a bit of elixir to help her mood while cleaning up the mess was not a bad one. Except that...why was Miss Black being...thoughtful? She looked at the goblet again with suspicious eyes but worked out that the potion had come from Zelda's batch so she had nothing to worry about. Accepting the offer, Gen took the goblet from Miss Black's hand and brought it to her lips, drinking its contents in one swallow.
"Right then, guess I'll just watch Billows scratch happily at himself while I scrub the floors with a drug-induced smile on my face." She had meant to say those words in her usual sarcastic tone but the elixir had already begun to take effect and the entire statement had sounded cheery and completely out of character for Gen. She couldn't help but giggle about it though. "Wow! Zelda did a good job!" Smiling, she pointed her wand at a cabinet near the back of the room and Accio'd two sets of dragon-hide gloves, setting Michael's on the desk in front of him. "Better get to work, Billows!" She didn't really expect him to do much, but she would at least let him know she wasn't going to completely write him off the job.

*He picked up the gloves from the desk, held them up and looked at them for a moment before bursting into loud laughter again. He clutched his sides as they began to ache, but that was all part of the fun. If he could see himself now he would be so ashamed of coming out of his moody quiet shell.*

The laughter was contagious. She had no idea what she was laughing about but she was, and loudly. Just like Billows, she would have been quite embarrassed to be seen acting this way but right now all inhibitions were non-existent. She only had enough thoughts in her brain to know that she was feeling really good and that there was something she was supposed to be doing with these gloves. "Um...Miss Black, I think I may have overdosed. I'm a light-weight when it comes to merriment." She laughed again, almost against her will, and turned to look at Billows. His laughter and the way he scratched himself was a lot less annoying and a lot more hilarious now.
