*He sat back in his seat once more and made his opening announcement.*
We are gathered here today for the trial of Rydiger von Heap.
He is here on a number of charges, namely attempted assassination of the Minister for Magic, use of an Unforgivable, assault and fraud.
How does the defendant plead?

He looks at Scrimgeour with a blurried vision. It was hard to even see. He then turned to Lucius.
"The whole thing, Mr. Malfoy...." Heap sighed. "But as I warned you, I - need - my - vicodin..." he closed his eyes. "My leg has an large-scale neurological damage. Such damages is far beyond magical repair, that's why I buyed Muggle pain killers in the first place... When Magical Medicine can't heal a damage, it can't do anything else about it either. That's why I need the vicodin, because Muggles has managed to make something that can ease cronical pain that otherwise can't be healed or removed. The Vicodin is the only thing that will allow me to overcome the pain and allow me to function. I need it... Are you aware that if you look closely, you will see three or four bumps? I have beaten my head against the wall to knock myself unconscious. You know, just to get a break ... Talk to him, Mr. Malfoy..."

*Clearly this was why he was not allowed to remain employed as a medi-wizard. At the very least he could have requested some sleeping draught to get him some rest. The salve should have worked to ease the pain if administered properly. It seemed that most of the speaking would have to be up to Lucius. For a moment, he pondered pleading insanity, but that had not been the plan, so he carried on with what was agreed.*
The defendant pleads not-guilty.

"Just tell him to give me my vicodin, Malfoy!" Heap cried. "What could that prove in this case, anyway? That I don't trust Magical Medicine to be perfectly complete to heal or cure every thing? I need it now!"

*Malfoy sneered at the suggestion of using inferior Muggle medicine when magical healers had their own methods of pain relief.*
The defendant requests something called Vicodin Minister.

*The trial had not even started and already Heap was making a show of himself.*
We do not allow muggle medicine in this court. We have no knowledge of what it can do,, so it is therefore unacceptable. The defendant will have to make do with our healers pain relief potions. They will work just as well.
Now let us continue without further interruption or else the defendant will be held in contempt.
The plea is not-guilty.
Mr Thicknesse, I believe you wish to make the opening case for the prosecution.

*Stands up and nods to the Minister*
Thank you Minister, as has been stated, Mr. von Heaps is here for attempted assassination, unauthorized use of an Unforgiveable Curse, assault and fraud. My fellow officials will present evidence of these crimes to this court. We wish to do this in an orderly manner, so let us begin with the charge of using assault. Approximately 1 week ago, the home of Arthur Weasley, a Ministry official, was brutally and deliberately attacked by Death Eaters under the command of He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named. During the battle, several witnesses reported seeing Mr. von Heaps participating in the action under the banner of the Death Eaters. In the ensuing battle, Mr. von Heaps was seen casting numerous curses to the deliberate effect of rendering extensive bodily harm to Mr. Gawain Robards and Mr. Remus Lupin. We have sworn testimonies from both recounting reports from the action at Arthur Weasley's residence.
Mr. von Heaps, do you have any comment on this charge of assault?

"If - you - want - to - know - what - it - is, so read on the front of the freaking box!" He closed his eyes again, before he started to rub the bad leg.

*Griselda quietly enters the courtroom with a truckload of papers under her arm and sits down next to Percy.* "Don't stress, Mr Weasley!" *She pats his arm soothingly.* "An overwiew will do nicely, darling." *Turns and nods towards her* *Starts writing his sribbled overview with a little more detail then others previously have written as he so wants to impress the Minister*

*Is disgusted at the look of Von Heap as he enteres the room*
*Turns towards the Mediwizard*
Be quick and stop his blathering.

*The court medi-wizard was already tending to Heaps wounds. His continued reluctance to co-operate with the court was not going to help his case in the slightest. Meaning that Lucius' job just became even more difficult.*
Esteemed members of the Wizengamot. The charge of assault during the battle, and all other charges for that matter, were performed while Mr Heap were under the influence of the Imperius Curse. He had no ability to stop himself until the day of the battle, when the control over him was weakened.

Heap look at Pius with a painful experrsion in his face. "I admit I was a part of the attack, but as Mr. Malfoy said, had no control over my actions."

Sitting next to the Minister, Umbridge crossed her legs and carefully adjusted the hem of her skirt, her trademark mouse-like giggle following Von Heap's affirmation of Malfoy's claims.
"Well of course you were being Imperiused Mr. Von Heap! Every man who has ever been in this courtroom since the war against You-Know-Who has made that claim. Why should it be any different for you, right?"
Her eyes narrowed, her words dripping with sarcasm although they were being delivered in her usually sickly-sweet voice.
"That is extremely hard to prove, Mr. Von Heap. Almost impossible, I think. Are you sure you don't want to save us all the extra time and trouble it's going to take to prove that you are lying to us and just admit the truth from the beginning?"
She was making it quite clear that she was going to be hard to convince. For her, most people were guilty until proven innocent...especially those involved with the DE.

"Young lady, the difference is that I have no connection to Voldy and those little firends of his what so ever. And yes, I could admit I acted on my own, but the thing is, that would actually be a lie. You see, I did not preform any murder attempt, at least not willingly or according to my actual ententions. Now, it's obvious you belive me to be a cold blooded killer and want me imprisoned, and I want the British to make as good cofee as we have in Germany, but we can't always get what we want. Minister, if we could take it from the top and get over this so I can get back to my head smacking in walls to escape another hour or two with increasing pain, I would be most greatful."

::Dawlish listened to the Minister give his opening remarks and watched as Heap made a show of himself as usual. Dawlish looked at him with disgust. As Umbridge sarcastically made her statement, he could not help but smile. The woman had class. However when Heap retorted with such an attitude towards Umbridge, Dawlish couldn't stop himself standing up in protest.::
How dare you have the nerve to talk to us with such an attitude! If you haven't noticed sir, you are IN England and you WILL obey our laws. Don't you dare think that you have any special rights just because you maybe something special in Germany. I'd advise you to be quiet if I were you.
::With a little clearing of his throat, he looked at the Thicknesse, Umbridge, and the Minister.::
So sorry to interrupt the hearing.
::He gave a little bow/nod in their direction as he sat back down.::
