Heap looked suprised at Dawlish.
"Just so it is clearified, madame Umbridge, it was meant as a compliment. And don't bother to lecture me in law, Auror-Man I can't remember the name of. I don't expect to teach anything new from you, anyway." he closed it
He whispered to Lucius. "Could you ask Scrimgeour and Pius Thicknesse to take it from the top?"

*He shook his head in disapproval.*
It will go on record that Mr Heap has no qualms breaking the taboo over the name of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Heap looked at Scrimgeour. "What? What do you mean with Taboo? I know you in Britain is so afraid of the wizard you call You-Know-Who, but to put a jinx on something as simple as a name? Isn't that a bit overreacting?"

What kind of bally fool are you?!
*His voiced roared in the relatively small courtroom as he stood up.*
We do not speak his name because he can magically track any moron who does!
*He sat back in his seat and mumbled to those around him.*
Let's just put him away for life now shall we? Call it endangering us all.

Umbridge nodded when each of the Ministry men spoke, in complete approval of their words, then turned her eyes back to Von Heap.
"I did not believe you to be anything in particular until just now, Mr. Von Heap. How dare you speak You-Know-Who's name? Do not even attempt to pretend you did not know about the taboo! Hmph! Thank Merlin the Ministry is protected against attack."
Still a bit shocked and utterly disturbed by the man, she turned to Lucius.
"Please Lucius, shall we make this quick dear?"
She gave him a knowing smile, well aware that Lucius was not exactly thrilled with his appointment in this case and that he would probably be as glad as she would to see a quick end to all of this.

"Pretend? Let me remind you I'm an outsider. I'm not aware of every detail of what's going on here. Why would the British Ministry put a taboo on the name of You-Know who? And let me make it clear I never actually said the name Vol - well, I said Voldy, in witch case the taboo wouldn't be activated. If you really choosed to jinx the name, it would just occur to the name, and not a half said one. If the name Rufus or Scrimgeour was under the taboo, you could say "Ruf" or "Fus" without activating the jinx." He stopped. "You-know-who made the Taboo? In that case, it's different. I won't say the name or anything close to it ever again. I suggest we start this trail before my adrinalin kick wears off, shall we?"
he nodded politely to Scrimgeour and Pius.

*He felt as though he was fighting a losing battle.*
Very well ma'am.
*He bowed his head.*
The defence in this case would be better served if I may start from the beginning, before any of the charges occurred.
From what I gather, Mr Von Heap was Imperiused soon after he came into employ for the Ministry.

Use the name of He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named again Mr. von Heaps and this court may find you in contempt. I suggest that you show proper respect for a court that intends on trying you for crimes that could end in you feeling the kiss of a Dementor. Your nationality status has been discussed and the German Ministry contacted, they have fully understood our part in this and wish to cooperate in upholding our laws.
*Pius' expression was stern and calm, he was not one to become annoyed with someone the likes of von Heap*
Mr. Malfoy, Mr. von Heaps, those under the influence of the Imperius Curse are not capable of acting entirely upon their own volition. We have spent years analyzing the curse in its most extreme and rudimentary methods. All of them involve a wizard under its spell to not be able to perform stellar feats of magic. In your case, you were able to hold off several aurors and Mr. Lupin at once, single handedly without the aid of any other Death Eaters. In the case of Madame Rosmerta last year, she was under the same curse but was only able to deliver packages, you on the other hand were capable of performing feats no cursed wizard could.
So, please, Mr. von Heaps explain to me why you were able to perform such things under a curse we all know would never allow you to do so. Remember, keep your tone civil and address He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named appropriately.

"Honoured Court of Great Britain. I will do my best to answer clamly and so on, and apologize my behaviour, but it isn't easy for me to claming down and focus when I'm in such pain, and isn't able to do anything about it. Respect and trust has to be earned and not demanded." Heap closed his eyes. His entire face was more swetty than before, and it sounded that he relly had to make a great effort in order to just breathe normally. "If I am to explain myself, I take it from the start. Now, let's see... Ah, yes. The International Confuderation. It all started when they contacted me one day when I was on the track of a Dark Wizard from Norway, named Harald Hansen. A earlier student of Durmstrang who tried to claim the position as the Norwegian Minister. When he escaped from both Norwegian and Swedish Auror into Danmark and later in to Germany, he made it almost too easy for me. But enough of that. The Confederation asked me to take a look on the British Ministry and it's status. With the Dark Wizard you know as Vo -, uh, as you-know-who, I'm sorry, it is perhaps the worst affair of terror since the Global Wizarding War. And since the Confuderation actually is a governing body that has the purpose of overseeing the various individual nations' councils and ministries, finding nations who fail to keep laws and order and help them out as well as unite the wizarding communities. At least, to help out was the reason they asked me to come here. I could of course asked another representant, but they wanted me to take a look for myself. This terror regime is even closer to reveal the existence of the entire Wizarding World than that of the famous Gellert Grindelwald. The other representants of the Confuderation belived it to be the Minister's fault." Heap stoped and rubbed his leg yet again. "Minister Rufus Scrimgeour, you are the only Auror except of Alastor Moody to ever gain a reptuation in Europe. I knew that no better option existed, than making a man who devoted his life to fight Dark Arts to leade the war against You-Know-Who. Being the Head of the Confederation, I still must have majority of the other members in mind." He stoped. He felt like he repeated himself. Perhaps it was wise to move forward? "Anyway... I visited the Ministery with a certain knowledge. It was that after the divorce, my ex-wife took my son and moved to England. Years later, Phillip Heap was dead. Killed in the service of your Dark Wizard. I would use this to my advantage. I asked the Minister to become a spy. I was a manipulated and confused kid during the Global War, and it is my belive that I would kind of make up for it by counteract the man you call You-Know-Who. The Minister made it clear that I was not to go in the way of his own spies. So I decided I wouldn't. After a long search, I discorvered a hidden pub in a place called Knockturn Alley named the Silver Serpent. I belive this is a meeting place for Dark Wizards, but can't honostly tell for certain. There I spotted the Death Eater Thorfinn Rowle, who talked to a young woman. I presented myself and asked if he remembered my son. He did. When I asked to see his master, he looked on me and pulled out his wand from his pocket, and everything got dark. When I woke up, I was lying the streets of Diagon Alley, cold, wet after the rain, and confused." Heap had to make a tactical brake to catch his breath, and to have them aske more questions.

Mr. von Heaps, respect and consideration must be shown to authority regardless of who holds that position, respect on a personal level is an entirely different issue. Now, neither the German Minister nor the International Confederation of Wizards has heard your mission until we contacted them about you claiming to be apart of their organizations. We shall get to the entire fraud charge later. Please answer my question, if you wish to regal us with your storytelling and myth making I will consider that contempt. I will even do the honor of giving you the question again. Explain to me why you were able to perform such things under a curse we all know would never allow you to do so.
*Pius' tone was cold and firm, he was not willing to toy around with a mentally disturbed wizard with disillusions of grandeur. He quickly exchanged glances to the aurors, ready to call them to take von Heaps away for contempt in the blink of an eye.*

"If that's the case, I doubt you possible can have contacted them at all." Heap tried to talk clamly.
"How the Imperius Curse made me do thing I normally wouldn't do? Because when cast successfully, it places the victim completely under the caster's control. They may then be directed to do anything the caster wishes, including crimes such as murder, political corruption, embezzlement, and so on. It will, if the caster is skilled enough, affect both physical and magical capabilities. But it is more to it than that. As I did explain on a earlier occation, I belive I also was confunded to belive the Ministry suddenly was Death Eaters, who wanted to kill me. I have no desire to die, and got scared. It is widely known that a witch or wizard can use magic, they never would have dreamed of, if they are in a particularly stressful situation. With no shame, I admit that I is a rather weak magically, and never worked in the field when employed in the German Ministry. At least not if I wans't backed up by several Ministry Officals. I was often the one tracking the criminals down, and the Auror og Magical Law Enforcement Patrol was those who captured them."

*Looking through his files, Pius finds a single parchment signed by the German Minister of Magic*
Mr. von Heaps, our offices here have been at the forefront of combating those placed under the Imperius Curse. Never, in our 20 year history of dealing with the curse, including 2 wars, has ever been seen a wizard capable of performing the feats you were witnessed performing under the Imperius Curse. You uttered battle cries, gave commands, even compliments towards other Death Eaters and against aurors, by all evidence. These items do not show you were in fact under the control of the Imperius Curse but acting upon your own volition as a member of the Death Eaters.
Now, we shall take on the charge of fraud. As I have mentioned the German Minister of Magic has given us a response to an inquiry and has declared that they had no idea their Head Auror was involved in anything in Britain. In fact, the German Ministry has no knowledge of a Rydiger von Heap currently working within their Ministry. Your tenure in their service ended 4 months ago, by their status. I have here a sworn testimony signed by the German Minister of Magic as well as the real current Head of the German Law Enforcement and Head of their Aurors, Dietrich Mannerheim and the Head of the International Confederation of Wizards, Armand Charlot... Head of the French Aurors. Mr. von Heaps, you may comment on this charge of fraud.
*Pius took the testimony and handed it to the Minister of Magic*
